Welp it wasn't steel and it was white gold and now out of luck because of her mistake. Blamed it on me and gas-lit me for it. Really unprofessional and wouldn't ever do business again. Stay away and just sell the watch to a jeweler store instead. Have the blackbox video of it happening and will be posting it on social media for everyone to see since "it is my problem now".

Advice to Ms. Baggenstoss- If you don't have time to take on new clients then don't take it them on waste months of time and then drop them 4 days before the work was scheduled to be completed. It's unprofessional, it's a waste of my time and it's completely avoidable. Advice to readers- Be warned, you may spend months only to get nowhere and need to start again. Response: If Ms. Bagenstoss had been remotely apologetic in her cancellation email ( or made any previous mention of health issues or time constraints) I wouldn't have posted negative reviews. Indeed when I emailed her my response to the abrupt cancellation (essentially this review with a mention that I would leave negative reviews) her response in full was "Thank you!". Taking care of yourself and treating other people's time and energy respectfully are not mutually exclusive.

I was particularly impressed by the speed with which Robin sent us our paperwork and check. One of Robin's workers even took the time to find and subsequently send us a box of my great-uncle's correspondence from World War Two. (Now THAT'S what I call customer service!) The home sold quickly due to exposure from the sale, and we're very, very happy all around.

Once I explained that it was my phone, I received no apology whatsoever. When we later explained to the person running the register what had happened and how uncomfortable and upsetting it was to be falsely accused of stealing, there was still no apology or even an acknowledgment that the situation had been handled poorly. The customer service was disappointing even before that happened. We were purchasing a large number of books, so I asked if they had a box we could use. I was told they had recycled all of their boxes, but that we could purchase one of the totes they were selling to carry our books. It seems very strange to get rid of every box before holding a sale where customers are purchasing large quantities of items. My husband ended up using a tote from our house to carry the books. While we were there, my husband also helped a couple of women carry furniture out of the house. He set our tote outside by the front door while he was helping them move the furniture out. Rather than simply waiting for him to finish so he could come back through the same door, the employee told him she was locking the door and that he would have to walk all the way around the house to get back inside. He didn't receive so much as a thank you for helping their customers move furniture. Any one of these things individually might have been brushed off. Taken together, especially being falsely accused of stealing and receiving absolutely no apology afterward, it made for an incredibly unpleasant experience. We were paying customers purchasing a significant amount of merchandise, and my husband was even going out of his way to help other customers, yet we were treated as though we were an inconvenience. I would not use this company again and cannot recommend them based on the way we were treated.
