When I called and made my appointment the other day, I was told a Mani/Pedi was $55 ($20 and $35)- when I went to pay tonight, my total was $75; I asked politely what the cost of each service was, as I was told differently on the phone. That was when my tech decided to inform that because I chose French Tips (and mind you, I did not get acrylics- these were just my natural nails) that it was $10 for each (so $10 for feet, $10 for hands). It would have been nice if he had told me there would be a $20 up charge to do French Tips (I don't get my nails done enough to just know or expect this, either). Had I been informed, I probably would not have gone with French Tips and just gotten a simple color. As I said, my nails look nice, but not for that price with just my natural nails over acrylics.

SO I called the school in town, and They got me in the Saturday afternoon I called within 15 minutes! As a student greeted me, washed and examined my hair, she questioned the working supervisor on the floor how to best fix it. I proceeded to get a cut that not only fixed my present cut but a lesson in how to use 3 different products and a better look than I expected to get when I went to the other salon! They showed me why my hair wasn't 'working' with my present mess (still 3 weeks after the last cut gotten elsewhere) and calmed my fear that i was just imagining the uneveness and bad working sense of it all. I have found my new regular salon for haircuts, and I'll save some money too! The only thing they forgot was their guarantee of a 5 minute scalp soothing massage with every haircut that I just read about. Next time! I know I could definitely have used that on Saturday;)
