They have perfected the widely-reported Florida scam where a clearly incompetent person under their care signs a legal Power of Attorney document, allowing these shysters to liquidate all the person's assets. (In this case, parent had advanced Parkinson's disease and was confined to a wheelchair in a nursing home with no ability to speak or write). Not only was this parent's single-family residence liquidated, with all of its' contents, the other long-deceased parent's ashes were buried, against this parent's express wishes to have the ashes scattered in the Atlantic Ocean, in a burial site that was arranged front to back, rather than the more conventional side-by-side. Adding insult to injury, the parent's ashes that were now buried had the wrong name engraved on the shared headstone. It took years of litigation, with multiple Florida law firms on retainer, to redress this horror-show.
