My training has been tailored to my needs and fitness level, with adjustments as skill and fitness increase. Everyone has been great, and I've interacted with several of the coaches and the owner Beau. I've experienced nothing but kindness and helpfulnes. I haven't taken the BJJ classes, but I am a BJJ purple belt and have observed the classes and instructor(s) there. It's solid, fundamental BJJ and the safety of the students is emphasized. I've seen a couple negative reviews, specifically commenting on people being rude or the environment being dangerous for beginners, and to me that's frankly ridiculous and makes me quite suspicious of the reviewers themselves. Especially the one by "Janice C." who claims she trained Muay Thai in Thailand and was somehow concerned by the practices at Fight Syndicate. That's a fairly laughable claim; the Thai's train brutally hard. Emphasis on "brutal". I am a recreational fighter, and the training has been well suited to my recreational intent. I'll work hard, but nothing like you'd see at a Thai camp and I've never once been hurt or put in a situation where I felt at risk of being hurt.

Very disappointing and unprofessional experience…read more My wife recently took our two daughters, ages 5 and 2 (turning 3 in November), to TIMA Gymnastics for a free trial. Unfortunately, what should have been an exciting experience turned into a horrible one. According to my wife, the experience was disorganized from the beginning. Nobody greeted her, explained where to go, or introduced her to anyone. Gymnastics and martial arts classes were happening in the same area, making it confusing and distracting for young children. Our youngest was participating in warm-ups and following the gymnastics instructor, occasionally looking back to make sure her mom was still there. This was her very first class. However, a gymnastics helper told my wife that our daughter couldn't continue because she wasn't following directions, despite my wife observing her participate. I would expect more patience and encouragement for a first-time student, especially one so young. Our youngest became upset and started crying, so my wife decided to take both girls home. While holding our crying child and trying to get our five-year-old's attention, a male martial arts instructor with curly hair and glasses repeatedly told her to move away from the mats, eventually raising his voice in front of other parents. My wife understood the safety rules, but felt his attitude and tone were rude, embarrassing, and unnecessary. He also spoke impatiently to our five-year-old while directing her where to walk. What bothers me most is the lack of patience, empathy, and professionalism toward young children attending their first trial class. Both girls were wearing trial name tags, so staff knew they were new. We genuinely considered enrolling both daughters because of the convenient location. Instead, my wife left feeling embarrassed and unwelcome, with our youngest in tears. A child's first gymnastics experience should be welcoming and encouraging, not intimidating or discouraging. Based on how my family was treated, I cannot recommend this place.

I'm back in the gym scene, peeps!! Level 12 has been following me on the gram for quite some time…read morenow. When a former gym member from my old gym contacted me to try it out, I was game. I'd been thinking about it but just never went ahead with a trial or anything. Welp, that ended today. I didn't see them on Yelp, so what's an Elite to do?! Start them off on the right foot of course!! I don't think a lot of people know about them, so help me spread the word!! Went in for the 5:30pm class and it was rough, but I went through the motions led by Master Lee and just did the damn thang!! Lol...did I die? Nope...but I sure did feel like it at the end!! Listen up kids, don't fall back or it'll be hard to get back on! That being said, don't let this place scare you. You get breaks in between. Of course if you're a beginner, you just go at your own pace and do the best you can. They're happy to accommodate all fitness levels. What they offer: - 30 minute circuit interval training (Kickboxing included!) - 12 Levels - Full body exercise with warm up and cool down stretching - Taekwondo classes for all levels - Family friendly - Self defense courses - Clean facility - Plenty of FREE parking - 24 hr. access for members I definitely needed this! Come out and give them a try. Get off the couch and have some fun, make new friends and have fun doing it!! You'll be glad you did! Maybe I'll see ya there! ;)

There's 8 heavy bags of different sizes and shapes to perform an array of punch and/or kicks on. 2 stations that time you on how many front kicks and punches you can do within a minute. And a tire flip station and a sled push station, then there's a rest minute in between stations that you will perform another exercise such as battle ropes, burpees, crunches, TRX band, deadlifts, box jumps etc...for 30 seconds and then rest for the remainder 30 seconds. Every week the workouts change so it's not boring at all! I have been going 6 days a week for the past 5 weeks! I can't get enough and the strength, stamina and weight loss I'm feeling is amazing! I have a 5 month old babygirl that I tend to so being able to get a hardcore workout in 30 minutes plus being able to take her with me to class is priceless!! If you're looking for an intense but quick workout! This is the place you need to be!!
