That wasn't the case AT ALL. The dance floor was packed the whole night. Lots of thanks and love!

I would highly recommend this place for your next event.

Our son Jacob married the love of his life, Danielle, whom we LOVE, on August 21st, a Friday evening wedding and it was SPECTACULAR ! This establishment runs like a well oiled machine and as business owners in the area for over 50 years, we know what that is ! We were treated like a family member from the start and it only got better and better as the months grew closer to the one of the most important days of our families lives. Our daughter Jessica was in the wedding party which made it even more special. Everyones (our guests) pictures came out awesome and looked like a professional took them, because of all the beautiful back drops and high-end decor the interior offers. The food and service was amazing. We waited for nothing. The price was very reasonable, in fact the most affordable out of every place we visited in Westchester and Putnam Counties, and the location was perfect, especially for the weary travelers coming in from California and Virginia, as we live in Mahopac and wanted to put them up with our surrounding families homes in the area and invite them to an after party on Saturday at our home . All perfection! We cannot recommend Villa Barone Hilltop Manor any higher !! They delivered in every way and made Jacob and Danielles wedding one that will be talked about for months to come. Thank you Nick and Staff for delivering everything you promised and more. Our Maitre d' was #1, he ran the show that evening seamlessly. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, as we are so happy for the memories and Jake and our beautiful new family member Danielle, to start them off on this new chapter in their lives with smiles and pride and 5 star memories of their magnificent wedding day, filled with so much love, family and friends to witness at this Incredible Venue. Our guests will continue to spread their 5 star reviews to all their friends and families. With so much graditude, Krissie and Jay Hansmann

For that party experience complete with private dressing room before your big event, very nice…read moretable service and food, this space is perfect for any occasion. Oozing pillar bliss, this Villa Barone, (not to mistake this as the location in Throggs Neck) offers the most sought-after destination for meetings, weddings, social events- even hubs' grand niece's Sweet 16th we attended on a rainy Sunday. This Mahopac location has a grand bar as you enter and several function rooms that you can book and customize to suit your event based on your party size. The girl's family picked a room for about 100 people comfortably with adequate space to fill large oblong tables on each side of the room and a dance floor in between. The family brought their own decorations to zhusz up the space to their liking. Food options looked fresh and the fish in lemon sauce rocked big time. Simple, but for a party hall, it was done right and so was everything else that was hand-served buffet-styled. The family picked this space for a reason because they feel it's a radiant and beautiful space that made their event a hit.

My wedding was perfect in many ways but leading up to it I must warn that they are not accommodating when it comes to times that you can get in to see the space, only on certain nights and at or after 8pm. I was also disappointed on the day of my wedding they held Zumba and a Touch a Truck event which made me feel that they did not care about my event that I was paying for. Their Liaison was particularly difficult to work with and when I tried to talk to someone else that was involved with the Church she called me and said she found it "Hilarious" that I tried to complain about her... not very professional. They also require someone to be at the stone house during the event which is more than fine, but the man was wearing a tank top and ripped jeans... So that also stood out to my guests. Overall, my wedding was wonderful but I feel that It was that way because of the friends and family that helped me and not so much their staff.

My husband's email to the DJ, James, himself: "I will be the first one to admit, I severely underestimated the importance of the DJ at a wedding reception. When I heard any compliments regarding the reception, the most common being 'that was the best reception I've ever been to,' it was usually preceded by 'the DJ was awesome.' And I couldn't have put it any better myself. I now know that the party doesn't even begin without a talented DJ, so I wanted to thank you, not only for playing great music, but for bringing the kind of energy and enthusiasm necessary to make for an unbelievable night." James was extremely professional and gave us an excellent deal. The music that we also requested as "must-plays" were played, which made me very happy. He was also an awesome MC. It was a great night!

We've received rave reviews from our guests saying everything from it was the most elegant wedding to praising the food and service. The venue and staff was way beyond our expectations. Dorothy from Modern Ceremonies was simply amazing to work with, our wedding would not have been the…read moreperfect day it was without her. My (now) husband and I wanted a "generically Christian" ceremony, one that would appeal to his Catholic family, my Protestant family, and our personal, nondenominational, views of religion. I was concerned, at first, that Modern Ceremonies looked too "humanist" or too "modern" but Dorothy immediately put our concerns to rest. She sent us multiple ceremony transcripts in a variety of Modern Christian versions for us to work with and personalize. Whenever we weren't 100% comfortable with wording Dorothy worked with us till we had it nailed down. The result was a completely original, utterly personal, and deeply meaningful service that Dan and I felt really represented us and our feelings, and which moved everyone in the audience. Dan and I had decided we wanted a "spice ceremony". We didn't have much information on it, aside from pouring spices in layers similar to a sand ceremony. Dorothy was, again, amazing. She wrote a very unique ceremony, and researched the symbolic meanings behind spices. What she helped us write went above and beyond. Dorothy was easy to work with and so very efficient. Throughout the months prior to the wedding, she kept in touch via email, and she was always available to call. She kept us on track with email reminders, such as when to file our marriage license. Once the wedding was complete, she filed our paperwork right away, and we got the license back in record time! Dorothy has a wealth of knowledge, a warm, calming presence, an efficient attention to detail, and a genuine love of seeing people happily joined, and of helping them create the perfect day. She made our wedding ceremony beautiful.
