Had oil change, they did not tighten plug.lost oil plug seized up engine.better to find another place to get service done.then they ghost the costumer,will not give response to any letters or take responsibility for incomplete work.left an elderly man on social security to pay for there incompancy. Normally, I am the Yelper with the "Highest Yelpiest Expectations" and I still took my vehicle to "Total Car Care" after my husband provided me the cleaning token he purchased through a fundraiser after reading all of the 1-Star Yelp Reviews. The token purchased the $15 Premium Car Wash and the "'ol Girl" (the vehicle) was so dirty I was tempted to scribble "Wash Me" on the back window myself. It was a little confusing at first trying to determine exactly where to enter the Car Wash, but a very nice Associate noticed my perplexed expression and walked up to ask what I needed. He pointed me in the right direction to the "cones past the Oil Change Company" and I entered the Car Wash. I didn't know who to provide my coin to but then I noticed the small window to the left with another Associate inside. He was also very pleasant and I handed him my coin. He stated that's all he needed and I waited for my turn at the entrance. I couldn't help but notice another Associate inside the car wash getting "washed himself". He had a mop-like apparatus which he used to soap-scrub the front and rear of the vehicles passing through the Car Wash. Having been through several Car Washes across the country, I mused to myself that this was "a first". My turn came up and he motioned for me to move forward and put the vehicle in neutral. He commenced his soap scrubbing routine and my daughters in the back seat started squealing when the pink and blue suds started their foam dance around us. As we made our way through I panicked when I saw two additional Associates outside of the Car Wash who appeared to be hand drying the vehicles on their way out (...even Mike's Car Wash in Ohio did not do this....). I wanted to ensure I tipped them in the event that was the expectation. Each man stood on either side of the vehicle with hand-held machines that blew air into the door mirrors and small nooks and crannies so that they could dry them with their special drying cloths. I handed the guys a tip on the way out and they both smiled in grateful appreciation. When I got home I observed that the "ol Girl" looked 100% better and I wasn't the one who had to stand out in the 100+ degree sun to wash her. While the other previous Yelp patrons were unhappy, I was very pleased with the wait, the Customer Service, and the experience. Until the next Car Wash ~ read more

Have used this place for oil changes for years but the customer service has declined severely. I was first in line at opening one morning and was greeted promptly but the guys attitude was almost hateful. Like what the hell are you doing here. Not, good morning, how can I help. I saw the bad reviews and was a little worried! My car hadn't been washed in a super long time, and I was in a hurry so I stopped by. I just got the $9 wash and it was pretty good! My car wasn't completely spotless but it was obviously much better than I would've done on my own and it was super quick. Will probably come back! read more

Not good at all. If I paid for the cheapest wash I would expect there to be bugs on the front but after paying the premium wash there is still crap on your car? Unfortunately not many options in San Angelo unless you do it yourself.. read more

My husband went to their other location in town on Knickerbocker to drop my NEWLY ACQUIRED car off for a simple oil change right before we took it on a road trip out of town. When he'd been gone several hours, I called him to find out what was going on. Apparently, they damaged my car so badly it has to be taken to the dealership to be fixed. I don't own a Ford or a Dodge like the majority of people out here, so the nearest dealership for ME is 2-3 hours AWAY. I hadn't had my car for three months and now it has to go back to the dealership. Not pleased. UPDATE: It having been over a week with no call from them, my husband called yesterday. The lady wasn't there so they had him speak to someone else. She also said they had never received the report from Stripes, who had told my husband while he was standing there that they were sending it. They didn't. And when he got a hold of them, they admitted it. After that, the lady called back, said she'd gotten it but that they'd told her that it was MY HUSBAND'S FAULT they hadn't sent it for EIGHT DAYS. The claim will take a week or two to even start. So basically, it looks like I'll be without a car for over three weeks because I can't even get a rental until they do something about that. read more

Dropped my wife's car off for an oil change and car wash. Came back 3 hours later to pick it up and leave another car to be washed and detailed. I was told that I could not just drop off my car to be washed. I had to get in the long line of vehicles, take the car through the wash myself and then leave it to be detailed. I don't have time for all of that. I said let me just pay for the car I already left. The oil change was done but the car was still filthy. I asked why it had not been washed and she said I had to take it through the car wash myself. I explained I did not have time to sit through a car wash and then wait inside while they detailed the interior. She gave me a chip that would entitle me to wash the car another time when I have time to come back and sit through the line. Shine Bright Oil Change/Car Wash will do all of that for you, at the same price, and your car will be washed and ready when you come back to pick it up. Needless to say, once I us the chip for washing my wife's car I won't be back again.......even for the gasoline. read more

Don't be fooled by the $15 car wash that claims you get tire shine. They supposedly spray it on in the wash while your in the washer still wet. It does no good, I complained and had the guys put actual tire shine on afterwards and it was night and day difference. It's misleading so don't easy your money!! read more

I wouldn't even give this one star if I could go lower. We have had our car washed there twice, the ALL American Wash for $15.00.. First time was horrible, not even clean, they didn't get bugs off or even clean the wheels. Today we decided to try it again. Same thing. Worst car wash ever. Horrible, the wait is just stupid for what you get! If I knew it was going to take this long I would never gotten in line, once you get in, you can't get out!!
