It was $25.23 total for one ticket at the door, which is cheaper than buying online ahead of time ($20 ticket plus $8 fee plus tax). There was no line to get in which was surprising given we went at 11am on a weekend. The place was super cool! It reminded me a lot of Meow Wolf's Convergence Station in Denver with how crazy it was. There are more places for kids to climb around than adults, but we were still able to crawl through a lot of places. There was so much cool stuff to look at that there's no way you can do it all in one visit. We've already decided we want to come back to St. Louis just to go here again! I will say the attractions aren't terribly accessible to those with disabilities. There is a lot of climbing and not a lot of wheelchair accessibility. It's also loud and high-touch. There are plenty of bathrooms, and there is at least one water bottle fill station which I appreciated as a tourist. The gift shop is pricey but that's also to be expected. Parking in their lot is $15 plus tax (we paid $20 and got $2 back), other nearby lots are open but more expensive. If you're visiting St. Louis, you definitely need to go here! It truly is a blast for all ages and is the first true adult playground I've seen. It is so worth the price of admission!

Bring a head lamp and your own knee pads (wrist guards, butt pads, elbow pads would also help if you decide to go all out and parkour your way through this place), as well as some sturdy jeans. One person in our group managed to tear the seat of their pants on one of the slides I didn't check out the food, but I found the drink prices pretty reasonable. They had a cute gift shop too for those of you who'd like to get a souvenir. If you plan on returning often, get their Gold Pass for free entry through December 2027 and discounts on parking, food, souvenirs, apparel, and more!

After going through security similar to an airport, a small egg shaped tram lifts visitors, rotating as it rises up the curve of the legs, to an observation deck at the top of the arch. The ride up takes four minutes, while coming down is three. It is a small & somewhat cramped ride, limited to five passengers at a time. Once at the top, you can look out small windows & see for miles & miles. Time on the observation deck is limited to 10 minutes to keep the flow of visitors moving. I was somewhat surprised to learn that the arch had been designed back in 1947, but construction wasn't started till 1963. There are a lot of steps involved with the arch & those with mobility issues will likely be unable to go to the apex of the arch. Wheelchairs, walkers, scooters & the like are not permitted on the observation deck. If your time allows, be sure to visit the free museum with six interactive galleries showing America's expansion westward. Also a visit to the gift shop is a must. All in all, the Mrs & I throughly enjoyed our visit at the arch & highly recommend a visit.

I cannot believe St. Louis has this, and I feel like we should be talking about it a whole lot…read moremore. The artwork is absolutely insane. We're talking an enormous stretch of wall covered in colorful, detailed, larger than life graffiti pieces. You can stand there looking at one section, turn your head, and find something completely different. It's like an outdoor art gallery, except the gallery is massive and the artists are out here making magic on a floodwall. It goes for literally miles! And here's another thing you must know. Paint Louis is an actual international graffiti festival held along the riverfront. Artists travel from all over to paint here, and the event has been around in various forms since the 1990s. The wall is recognized as the world's longest graffiti wall in Guinness World Records. I swear, every time I go down there, I wonder why we don't lean into this even more. Paint everything! Give artists more walls! Let the riverfront become one giant, ever changing outdoor art installation. St. Louis, we have some pretty extraordinary things hiding in plain sight. This is one of them.

The artwork shows Geppetto, the well-known carpenter from the Pinocchio story, holding a hammer above the puppet's head. At first, it might look playful or cartoon-like, but the scene feels more complicated the longer you look. Is Geppetto angry, or is he about to bring Pinocchio to life? The puppet gazes up at him with a mix of trust and worry, adding to the tension. Otterness often uses simple, familiar characters to explore deeper ideas, and this piece is no different. It makes you think about the bond between a maker and what they create - who holds the power, who gets to decide, and how care and control can overlap. It also reflects the original Pinocchio story, with its themes of honesty, identity, and the desire to become real. Completed in 2001 and placed in Citygarden by the Gateway Foundation, the sculpture stands about eight and a half feet tall. Surrounded by other modern pieces, "Kindly Geppetto" stands out for the story it tells and the emotions it stirs. [Review 1173 of 2025 - 439 in Missouri - 24726 overall]

This bronze sculpture pays tribute to the famed cartoon carpenter geppetto from Pinocchio stories and film. Ill be honest and admit when me and my family stumbled upon this sculpture in august 2018 I did not make that connection. But the sculpture was very alluring and my kids was fired up to take a photo op with the sculpture. Overall very cool medium sized sculpture in a downtown Saint Louis area full of fun and cool sculptures. Located just a short walking distance from the famed gateway arch as well.
