Great service! Got a tire repaired and then new brakes, both visits were friendly and affordable.

Back in October, I wrecked my car. It was a dreadful day. I had driven up to Gillette from Fort Collins to look for my dad, who I had reported missing after we couldn't find him for a week. It wasn't a good outcome. Not the worst, but not the best. I had gotten some devastating news before having to head back to Fort Collins. It started coming down pretty good and before I knew it, I was driving in blizzard conditions. I hit an ice patch, slid across the southbound lanes of i25, through the medium and across the northbound lanes into the ditch. I was STUCK. Long story short, I was able to get a tow truck out and get it to the nearest tow yard, where it sat until insurance arranged to have it transported to the nearest body shop--you guessed it--Cool Customs in Torrington. Cool Customs originally quoted four to six weeks for the job. I ended up not getting my vehicle back for around two months. Now, I understand that's not a ringing endorsement, but I genuinely believe it was due to circumstances beyond their control. It's like every time we thought it was close to done, something else was discovered and set us back. Throughout these painstakingly long weeks, during which I had to pay out of pocket for a rental car (my dumba** didn't have rental car coverage and since I am in Fort Collins, it wasn't as though I could just use their loaner!), they remained in constant contact. They updated me every step of the way and were genuinely just so empathetic to my situation. They did everything they could to advocate for me with the insurance company regarding things they didn't want to cover. For example, they fought tooth and nail beside me to advocate for partial coverage of a new set of tires. The old set was fine and would have lasted a while longer, but the wreck blew one of them, and it's an AWD vehicle. Insurance, of course, wanted to only replace one, but it's not like you can safely do that on AWD vehicles, so I needed all new ones. Basically, they did everything within their power to make things easier on me. And, when the time came and the bill was due, they worked with me on it. They saw how hard I was struggling with everything and were so understanding. I will be forever grateful to them. Not to mention, the car is like-new! It's been several months and there have been no issues. I hope to never require these services again, but if I did, I would go directly to Cool Custom's (if I lived in Torrington!).
