In town from Atlanta, I thought I'd check this location out for their 50% off sale. After waiting…read morein line for 20-30 min (not exaggerated) for the clerks to assist the same two customers, I had to leave after neither associate, nor anyone walking the floor addressed the long wait. (I'd have been cool with a "sorry for the delay" or even "cool your heels" j/k) Maybe it's the culture here? Pretty disappointed, as I was one of maybe eight others in line. If you're familiar with the shop, you know that's pretty dense and generally only happens when there is a big sale. The locations in Atlanta that I visit traditionally have extra hands on staff during the popular afternoon sales to help alleviate some of the crowd density. Maybe this location I visited was having an off day. I love Ann Taylor and the LOFT and will continue to shop them, but not this location.

I had paid with a gift card and credit and the assistant manager (no manager on duty) could not figure out how to make the return/exchange. And by "could not figure out", I mean 1 hour and 12 minutes of her calling around for help (no help) and me finally having to provide a solution - which then took 25 minutes for me to get her and the "help" on the phone to understand. Baffling really. Luckily my husband was with me to keep our 15 month old occupied.
