Updated: 3/10/2026 Read the latest at the end of my review…read more I have an appointment for a MRI on Saturday Feb 21st. My new doctor thinks I may have deeper issues than just trigger finger. I've already seen him once since my ordeal at The Orthopedic Group. They did an x-ray and did a short evaluation of my finger after a lengthy consultation about what I had to endure prior. I go for a MRI to determine whether something more serious and severe is going on with my finger. My new doctor thinks it might be a fluid situation possibly. But he wants to make sure by means of the MRI imaging. This is what I've been needing and hoping and praying for. I just feel like the orthopedic group or at least the doctor I had didn't care about me and my way of life or occupation. It felt like a hurry up and get him out of here thing looking back on it. Not much care or thoroughness was taken because I was paying out of pocket instead of insurance. The orthopedic doctor I'm seeing now has done two prior surgeries on the same left hand and he did a very good job. That's why I've decided to go back to him. Also because I just finally got my Medicare insurance started this Feb 2026. I only went to the orthopedic group because of payment plans, biggest mistake of my life to say the least. In addition to this post I have to say that I truly am not trying to put down the orthopedic group. It's the fact that I had a really bad experience there. Many other people love that place but for me it was not good. Dr. Glenzer was my doctor at the orthopedic group and his personality just seemed a bit more in a hurry rather than get it right. At least for me, that's my take on him. I do wish all that go there the very best of luck however. My new and former doctor is very thorough and listens to my concerns very carefully. He's done carpal tunnel surgery and trigger thumb surgery for me which were very successful. He also did a steroid shot injection back years ago on my right thumb which did wonders. The only other thing I might say about the orthopedic group is that after Dr. Glenzer had agreed to do a free incision surgery but I was billed afterwards a small amount. They also required me to pay for the office visit the day of the free surgery. This feels like , pay us for screwing up your finger with a botched needle procedure. Totally unacceptable!!! If it had gone successfully I would have had no problem but the second procedure needle surgery was just bad ! I feel very let down by that establishment personally. Good luck to you if you choose to go to the orthopedic group establishment practice. After my MRI results it's been determined by my new orthopedic doctor that I have lots of scar tissue. My question to the Orthopedic Group is why wasn't the scar tissue removed at the time of the follow up free surgery? I also have some fluid buildup! I'm very angry about how Dr. Glenzer took care or not of me and the surgery. It felt like I was not a priority or a concern. He agreed to do the following up surgery after all my pain and frustrations. Now I'm getting billing statements from the orthopedic group. I have a voicemail saved of his call to me telling me that he wanted to make things right with me and agreeing to do the follow up surgery for free. I was also charged an office fee the day I went there for the follow up surgery. As a guitarist that depends on my fingers to make income this is just not acceptable. Total disregard and respect to me and my profession is what I'm feeling. I now have to go through some grueling physical therapy to try and get back to some sort of normal. My new orthopedic doctor says he could go back into the surgery process to remove scar tissue buildup and possible fluid but he wants that to be a last option. I for one will never go back to the orthopedic group for anything. The whole experience with them and Dr Glenzer has been nothing short of a nightmare for me.

This is for the Pace location…read more I am not one to do this but I came here for my initial Physical Therapy weeks ago and worked with Viktor and thought he ws great. He really was, so i give hime credit. He was empathetic and helpful. I have had major cervical stenosis and major myofascial muscle knots because of it. He was able to help take the edge off the pain with stretches which I appreciated and tried to work out the knots but with little success. But I dont believe that was his fault. The pain came back full force, even with stretching and injections. After talking to my primary she was confused on why PT didn't recommend dry needling or another procedure for my back that my pain Dr that sent then could try since the knots were so bad and would not disappear. ( I now realize they don't have the training or schooling deal with severe issues at this location). So she ordered another referral but asked me to go to a different Physical therapist. I was happy with my previous experience so I said i would go back to these guys. The referral was sent over. It specifically stated dry needling for thorasic strain in wall and tendon. It was VERY clear it was the back. They scheduled me two weeks out and if you have severe pain, you know how long two weeks feels like. I go in today for it and received a different PT. She immediately did not seem as empathetic as Viktor. She actually had NO CLUE why i was there or even looked at my paperwork before seeing her patient. (Another suggestion, if your patient returns, do not switch therapist). She told me, no we don't do that here. We are not trained for that. I would have had to take way more courses and I am not going to do that. OK. I really didn't think that was professional to state the last part but ok. I was not impressed with the bedside manner. She was even joking with other patients while she was dealing with my tears and distress. Unacceptable. I left in tears (mostly due to being in pain for 6 months and I thought FINALLY I am going to get some relief. It was quite embarrassing to have this whole thing go on in front of other patients instead of in private with my Healthcare provider. Since I am at it, why does the front desk ladies always seem bothered you are interrupting non work related conversations. A smile might be nice. That being said, I waited TWO weeks for that appointment. In pain. Why in the WORLD is Andrews scheduling for a referral they can NOT do. The woman told me the front desk really doesn't know things and they just schedule. Maybe this girl was new. I don't know. I am not putting her name out there because everyone has bad days but while I got a sorry, it was not ok to joke, and not ok to mention the schooling part the way she did. There is a professional, kind way to handle that situation and that wasn't it. WHY is a professional not looking over these referrals first? Why are trained medical professionals not going over thier patients paperwork before seeing them? Very very unprofessional. And very VERY WRONG to schedule that far out for something they can not do. I don't understand. Please, please Andrews, have a trained professional review these referrals. Do not waste the time of patients that have been physically hurting and are dealing with severe emotional strain because of it. When you do this, they have to start over with a new PT that could also take several weeks and delay healing and relief. And if you do mess up show some accountability. NICOLE WALL

Dr. Goyeneche and Associates receive a biG A+ from myself and family…read more I had an in office visit today, March 2025, for a shot in my hip to help reduce the pain which I'm experiencing. It was done with great ease and very little discomfort. Dr. Goyeneche receives an A+ due to two previous shots in my hip, which were awful. His skills are far above past experiences. There was a clear difference between Dr. Goyeneche's service in this facility and the previous facility. Bed side manners also receive an A+. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. Kind Regards, Dorothy (Dolly) Quill

Dr. MacNeal and Staff,…read more Misty, Jordyn, Bonnie, Allison, Allyson, and Brianna are Dr. MacNeal's awesome staff that I had contact with. Dr. MacNeal and his staff, Allison, Misty, Bonnie, Jordyn, Allyson, and Brianna are awesome. I had an aggressive squamous skin cancer on my hand. I'm 70, so I'm no stranger to doctors. I can tell you it would be hard to find such a thoughtful, caring surgeon and staff all in one! They answered all of my concerns and are patience. Allison greets you at the front deck like your family, but she is professional. The rest of the staff as mentioned, treats you with respect and compassion. It is very stressful to have a prognosis of cancer, but a caring and concerned surgeon and staff can make all the difference, believe me. Thank you all for the care I continue to receive. Respectfully, Jennifer P.S. A special note to Bonnie who was so sweet on my first meeting and Misty, for all the heartfelt concern during my surgery who eased my stress (Best Hug that Day). Jordyn too for all my after care, another sweet lady. All of the staff as I mentioned are awesome but I had lots of one on one care with Misty, Jordyn, and Bonnie. Thank you

I saw Dr. Jason Determann today for a popping and occasional pain after working out in my shoulder…read more As a member of Orangetheory Fitness and relying on my body as a student in the healthcare field, I don't like to be idle for long. So when some discomfort arose in my shoulder after a workout, and persisted for several weeks with certain moves, I decided to get it checked out. The wait in the waiting room was super quick. I was halfway through my first page of paperwork when I was called back for x-rays. The x-rays took very little time, and I was placed in an exam room to wait for the doctor. My time in the exam room before Dr. Determann came in was about 45 minutes, but I didn't mind. It's a busy facility with their own rehab center inside, so I'm sure he's busy between scheduled patients and popping over to the rehabilitation side of things as needed. He listened to my concerns and to me explain what happened when I started noticing popping and slight pain. He worked my shoulder, testing my movements and range of motion, and he felt around on my shoulder blade until he could pinpoint where the popping was occurring. He reviewed my x-rays with me and explained what was happening. Thankfully, I have a minor issue that simply needs some rehabilitation for strengthening! Nothing is wrong with my actual shoulder! I appreciated the time and effort of an appointment with him. Not once did I feel shrugged off or rushed. I left with some relief of knowing I don't have anything damaged at all, and it's great to know I can return here to be in great hands while strengthening a weak spot!
