My daughter spoke up and repeatedly telling them that's the wrong shots and they ignored her. But thank God my daughter told them and made sure he wasn't gonna get those shots. This nursing staff needs to be cleared out for a new staff or this doctor will be losing more than patients coming to see her!

Since Sebring has no pediatric hospital I had to go down to Miami to get my baby checked into the emergency room because she had a possible seizure. I left multiple messages for the doctor to call me back with the nurse on call and nobody called me back for an entire week and a half!!!!! Thankfully after 2days in the hospital in observation and running numerous tests, the results were negative Thank God! I called the doctors office and spoke with the front desk who advised me that in order for me to speak with the doctor, I would have to come in. I asked if they had received any of my messages and they advised that they did receive them but in order for me to speak with the doctor I had to go in person. A simple phone call from Dr.Camillo asking how she was doing prior to me coming in for a follow up appointment would have been the professional thing to do. But she refused to call me and required me to come in person. Again, absolutely no bedside manners whatsoever!!!!! We will NEVER go back there again! On top of that, the front desk is VERY unprofessional, whether you're in person or over the phone one of the front desk girls constantly calls you "Babe" .... What is that?! Either call me by my last name, first name or "Mam". But it's extremely unprofessional to be calling patients mothers "Babe"!

I surveyed my friends and associates and was pleased. I touched base with my insurance carriers and no problem, so it was a go. Online Presence- Up and running but a little behind the times. They have a website but no patient portal. There is a link to make an appointment but all it does is generate a call to the staff. It's time for an update! Arriving- Thy are on the southbound frontage road of US Route 27 between Avon Park and Sebring. There are several turn offs before and after them. Just query your GPS. Parking is no problem. Front of the Office- Always a big deal in a medical practice. The physical part is just fine. The reception area and treatment rooms are clean and mostly comfortable. See my pictures. The staff is better than just fine. Everybody I touched was great! The Appointment- I was able to get an appointment within a week which was great. I showed up a little early and was in a treatment room before my appointment time. Soo far, so good. Unfortunately, I sat there for almost 45 minutes with no contact from anyone! Not a good way to make a first impression! The Md- First impressions were very favorable. He knew how to listen, which is so important! His questions were organized and on point. He spent about 45 minutes with me which I appreciated. I walked out feeling good about my choice. Conclusion- A solid choice! That 45-minute wait hurt but he made up for it with quality time. Somehow the emergency room we visited the same day was satisfied to hand her a bottle of general antibiotics and send her home. I am convinced that she would have died had he not seen her that day and had her admitted at once. He is an altruistic doctor who is skilled and compassionate. I am grateful to him that my mother is not only still here but well. I have heard several people speak of him in glowing terms. now i understand why.

Smith…read morerandomly turned the appointment into a bizarre interrogation with regard to my "mental health"... Did I ever experience depression, etc.... When I stated that my mental health was not pertinent to my visit and that I would rather not discuss such, Smith ( not a mental health specialist ) became very defensive, stated something to the effect of "this isn't going to work for me".... My experience with Smith leads me to conclude that there is a reason he does not have a PHD, isn't an MD. ( My husband was also witness to this violation of personal/patient rights ). Maybe Smith can respond to my negative review with a condescending retort, like the responses I've read to other negative reviews, on other pages.
