When I was examined I was informed that I need two crowns, each about $2500. After the preparation for the crowns were done I was presented with an invoice of over $8100. That included a so-called "clinical crown lengthening-hard tissue" for $2000. It was cutting the gum and stitching - a 15 minutes procedure. As it turned out it was not Dr. Miner but some other dentist who came to practice on the island at his leisure. It took several visits and 6 weeks before the two crowns were finally inserted. Reason, the visiting dentist decided not to work even so I did have an appointment and ran out of time another time. THE MOST RIPOFF I EVER EXPERIENCED. The work however, I have to admit, was good.

When I called Dr. Miner 3 days later as it was still numb he said I might have a brain tumor or have had a stroke and it had nothing to do with the cleaning even though it happened right after the cleaning. He said I would need to come in for a scan which I would need to pay for. I consulted with another dentist who said that that made no sense at all to jump to that conclusion. The technician who did the cleaning was very thorough and nice. The doctors reaction is very disturbing.
