This had to be hands down the best experience ever! I went with a group of 7 friends. Some did the toro pass (includes regular zip lines, the beast, & the monster) and 4 opted for the family package ( can select between the major lines and then any other activities. You also get a $50 food voucher). The crew here was very friendly, informative and loved that they pump you up for the ride. One of my friends didn't make the weight limit and the manager on duty was kind enough to refund us for his toro pass. Other than that, I recommend this 100000000%

Amazing experience at Toro verde. We booked our experience online 2 weeks in advance and were pleasantly surprised of how easy it was. The hard part was getting there since it was a 2 hour car ride through the mountains and curvy roads. We were stressed thinking we were late, the reservation was at 12 and due to traffic and finding parking we got there at 12:20pm. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The view and experience is breathtaking. We did the beast and monster ride which are not for the faint of heart. After the experience which took like 2 hours we had lunch. The food was flavorful fresh and the service was excellent. Thanks Toro Verde see you next time.

When you visit PUerto Rico you MUST come here! Let's start with this is the most fun you are going to have zip lining ! A little back story THE MONSTER The longest zip line in America, with a 2.5km (2530m, 8300ft, 1.57mi) cable, equivalent to 28 football fields. A unique experience in the world that starts when we give you the flight equipment and then take you to the launch pad, where you finally come face to face with the scariest attraction in the Island where you will reach a speed of up 95mph, at more than 380m high. When I say this is a bucket list experience that I'm extremely happy I was able to cross off my list and side note I did it when it was on and off raining lol but an experience it was and I would do it again ! They have many other zip lines to do . They do have a gift shop that I did stop in and buy a sweatshirt because lie I said it rained and the sweatshirt is so cozy and warm they also have rain jackets for the kiddos with a warm lining definitely brought that as well . They also let you rent GoPro for about $35 for a hour and you can buy your pictures of course. This gift has everything you would need for the day of fun . Lol . So of course after this experience you will work up a appetite So let's jump into the delicious food we order, toastones cups with steak , fried chicken wings with 6 different sauces and chicharron de pollo boneless. The drinks are good as well I order the monster with 4 different liquors and the flavor was passion fruit. The service was just absolutely amazing the staff is super friendly and hopefully . The place is very clean and the views are just magnificent . The experience overall was fantastic! I recommend you go check this place out even if you just want to go and have good food and drinks and a nice view you won't be disappointed! Please go check out their website site for some great deals . Until next time my lovely readers .

I did the 2nd longest zip line in the world!

This was one of the most wild and fun times I have ever had in my life. I do not know if I will ever go on the 2nd longest zip line in the world again but this one takes the cake for exhilaration and fun all in one. The zip line is something I will never ever forget and it's breath taking - literally... just stay calm! It's a gorgeous ride and you will literally FLY!

We did all of the ziplines plus The Monster, and it was nothing short of an exciting, awesome good time. Blew our minds, really. Words can only describe, and I won't waste a lot of them here with this review. I'll keep this one short by just saying... Wow! Come here. Do all the ziplines. You'll never forget it!

Absolutely amazing experience! Toro Verde totally blew me away. The views are breathtaking, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the zip lines--especially "El Monstruo"--are out of this world. If you're into adventure and nature, this place is a must. I left with a huge smile and great memories. Can't wait to go back!

SO MUCH FUN!!!! if you go to Puerto Rico, you must come here, we did the zip line tour plus "the monster", what an amazing experience; I've heard reviews of people waiting hours in line. We did not have to wait more than 10 minutes for the first one and after that it was from one sip line right next to the next one without any waiting...... "the monster" had a very manageable 10 minute wait; the drive there is beautiful trough the puerto rica mountains and valleys.

    Suites up and ready!

Terrific place for great zipline adrenaline! Several choices to choose from, our party of 5 chose the 7 ziplines which took about 2 hrs. Not much hiking until after line #6. Then is is a rough climb on rough steps (approximately 150 steps). But it was well worth it. Guides Maria & Juilio were great along the way. The views were unreal. Very glad we chose Toro Verde. The restaurant/bar was a nice addition and a beautiful gift shop. Great friendly staff. The drive from San Juan is beautiful, be prepared for numerous winding and hairpin roads for about 15 miles.

We got the couple's pass for $150. The couple pass is for 2 people, includes in a single day, 2 combos and a coupon of $25 redeemable in restaurants. We chose the Zipline & The Monster combo. The zipline is a series of 7/8 lines zigzagging over the mountain about 10-20 seconds each. The monster is a huge line from one end to the other where you lay down into the safety strap. It's over a minute long depending on your speed and it's scary yet exhilarating. Smile because they do take pictures that you can purchase later on. We then went to "La Terraza Del Toro" restaurant to eat. The view over the mountain is awesome. We were immediately seated and greeted by our waiter, Jean. We ordered drinks, Persecco-Rita and a Pina Colada, and took time to look over the menu. Once we were ready to order, we waited for Jean but he was busy with other guests. Thankfully a waitress, Michelle, can over to check on us and took our order. Love that kind of teamwork. We got our drinks and we didn't like the persecco-Rita so they thankfully took it back and exchange it for a frozen mango margarita which was equally as good as the Pina Colada. As we waited for the food, we went down stairs to the shop and bought souvenirs as well as our Monster zip line photos. Once again, smile! Our photos were embarrassing but we bought them anyway and went back to to the restaurant. Overall our food was good. I wished they would have seasoned the meats more versus relying on the sauce for the flavoring. For example, we ordered the salmon and didn't like the white sauce. We pushed it off and just ate the fish. The fish was cooked perfectly but was a bit bland. The rice and peas were delicious! The shrimp appetizer was pretty good. Once again we didn't like the sauce on top but the shrimp and plantains themselves were good. We got the wings plain with the sauces on the side. The guava BBQ was our favorite choice. Next was the buffalo sauce and our least favorite was the jerk sauce. The staff was friendly and quick. Jean and Michelle were amazing! The Monster & The Beast were epic! Zipline Tour was fun! Sam & Martinez were great tour guides. Their bilingual instructions were very clear. They have transportation to help guests get back to the main building after finishing the zip lines. The roads were rough so we had to hang on tight to the handle bars & our belongings. Corina at the front desk has excellent customer service. She made great recommendations for the day.

The food is so well seasoned and plated to perfection. Authentic Puerto Rican cuisine! You will not be disappointed. The staff are so kind and attentive. My dish was grilled Mediterranean chicken with rice and beans. So good!

They offer the second highest and longest Superman zipline in the world, but the business operation could have been better. I enjoyed my Superman zipline and five other ziplines, but my experience involved confusion and major delays. They seemed to be short one staffer on the ziplines, so one staffer was offloading zippers and uploading zippers for the next zip, which caused a 1/2 hour backup on one of the lines. Not cool! Also, walking directions between ziplines were absent or confusing. The one sign visible to offloading zippers after the third zip was pointing in the wrong direction. Yikes! It would have been nice to have a GoPro mounted to my helmet to remember the experience, but the shop was out of GoPro rentals. Not cool! The staff were accommodative, with a language barrier. I noticed a restaurant and a gift shop. The location was a 1 hr 15 min bus ride each way from the cruise port. Overall, the great experience overshadowed the minor difficulties.

4/1/21 We made reservations online for 11am a little over a month before our visit. We only did The Monster since the Zipline, Beast, and The Monster combo was sold out. First off, it's gorgeous up here!!! Easy to get to. 11am on a Thursday and it was not busy at all. We arrived about 1040am. I wish I knew how to post videos on here because it really is gorgeous and 100% worth doing and worth making the drive to! By the time we were done, it started to get busy so we had perfect timing and missed the crowds. We did eat at the restaurant and I highly suggest that as well. The food was amazing! Pro tip: Keep your hands behind your back/on your side as instructed because you won't make it to the end of the zipline like me :-) (I forgot my gopro clip thingy so I was holding it out for video). One of the workers had to come out on the line and come get me.

Great time! Highly recommend it!…read more It was every bit as good as their website and yelp reviews made it look. If you're in PR and physically-fit enough to climb the trails, this is a must-see! I read the other reviews here, but I have some more to add. First of all, our driver was exactly on-time (unlike others who were surprised by early arrivals). Can't beat punctuality! We had to make several stops (obviously, we had purchased the package that included transportation from one of the San Juan hotels). But it wasn't bad and the ride from the beach to the park was 45 minutes, including stops at two other hotels. Once there, you'll get to use the restrooms (bano's) if you want before being directed down to a trailer to sign a waiver and pay (if you didn't bother to pay in advance.) Compared to what I paid for the in-advance-internet price, the walk-up rate was $7/person more. There was some more waiting around before getting fitted for a harness and then some MORE as we waited for a large enough group to assemble before heading down the trail. I really want to stress this part, as there were several older guests in the group and they struggled with the trails. At the beginning, you descend some ragged/un-improved trails down to the first line. There WERE some thin ropes to show you the trail and I guess you could hold them, although I think if you really put your weight on them, the poles would have just fallen over. There were a lot of loose rocks and dirt, but eventually everyone got down the trail to the briefing area. I don't think my mom, or anyone not "sure-of-foot" would have made this descent... There was a briefing given in both Spanish and English and they made the final adjustments to our harnesses (which had been left loose to allow us to hike down the trail). About photos: I REALLY appreciated that they weren't trying to squeeze more money out of us at every turn with compulsory pictures or "add-ons". Hell, they don't even sell souvenirs, so if you're thinking of getting a memento, you can forget about it. So, better bring a camera that is either small enough to go in your (zippered/buttoned) pants pocket, or you had better have one that has a strap to put around your neck. YOU WILL NOT be taking pictures while ziplining!!!!! You MUST wear heavy raw-hide gloves on both hands throughout the trip, although there are someplaces where you can step aside and remove your gloves to snap a picture or quick video. The alternative is a "Go-Pro" or other helmet-mounted camera. The helmets they make you wear have places to connect your Go-Pro straps. DO NOT be like the jackass in front of us who thought he could ignore the safety instructions and take his hands off the harness and line. He immediately flipped upside down and easily could have dropped his equipment or injured himself. Use a helmet-cam or take pictures when safely stopped. 'nuf said! As mentioned in other reviews, there is NO PLACE to securely store your valuables, so don't bring any! If you don't have a zippered pocket or pouch that you can put around your neck, just leave stuff at home/hotel/car. And now the staff: They couldn't have been any nicer! What a great group of young people. There is staff at EVERY point in your journey. There's at least one person (highly trained) at EVERY platform, at the beginning and the end. And of course, back at the base station to help you with your equipment. Most are completely bi-lingual, but a few aren't fluent enough to carry-on a casual conversation. Even those folks spoke enough English to guide you thru safety procedures or changing from one line to another. Seriously, nothing but praise for these men and women. They were great. We put a $20 in the tip-box to thank them. Bottom line, we've ridden a number of (much) smaller ziplines, but nothing like this. 8 lines!!!! Awesome views, easy procedures, friendly staff! Loved it! We would do this again on a future trip.

He picked us & another couple up at the hotel and the trip was about 20-25 min to get there. He even met our Beyonce playlist requests :) haha! There were 8 lines and the staff was great. I think this is a good spot for first timers. It's not overwhelming, but still high up with beautiful views. It was also cool because we stopped at a butterfly/tropical bird garden on our way before we hiked down (only 10 min hike) to the zip lines. We got some beautiful pictures. After we were done Sam recommended a great authentic little food stand that we stopped at on the way back to the hotel. It was so good! Overall, it was worth every penny. Manuel was also awesome, but so was all of the staff that helped really. They really put us at ease and were great with safety. A 9 year old girl was even in our big group and was totally fine. While on the moving bus on bumpy roads, we were asked to fill out waivers. After about 30 minutes we arrived a Hacienda Campos. We walked up a hill to a restaurant where we were asked to wait. I had been worried about the 230lb weight limit as I was just under it before leaving, but I had also been on a cruise ship enjoying all sorts of wonderful food for 6 days at that point. I had no reason to worry, as unlike other zipline companies, this one did not weigh us. We sat in the restaurant and bar area for a while and it was suggested we purchase their small cans of bug spray for $13.50 if we did not have our own. I'm glad I didn't, as the bugs did not bother me at all while we were there. After 30 minutes of just sitting, they finally took us to get harnesses. We later learned the delay was caused due to the staff determining 4 of the people who came on the tour were "too old" to participate and had to issue them refunds. Odd they waited until after we arrived to decide that, as the cruise line knows your age when you buy the tickets, and a representative from the company met us at the cruise port and let the people on the bus. The only option they had after getting a refund was to sit in the restaurant till the bus took everyone back to the ship. The ziplines were fun, you do have to do a fair amount of hiking between the locations, which is nice. They also have helmets with GoPro mounts screwed on to them, not just with adhesive. Anyone who brought backpacks had to bring them along on the ziplines. There were lockers in the restaurant area, but we were not told about them and did not see them till we were done. After the tour, we were told we had some time to eat and drink at the bar before the bus came, but they did not tell us how long. Several people ordered food, some got it but others were still waiting when we were told the bus was ready. Turned out the lady making food had gone off to walk her dog, so several people had to rush to eat as well as eat on the bus. The actual zipline part was fun, but the time management before and after was not the best.
