Just returned from a vaca with my best friend. We drove into Toronto for the day and after perusing Eaton Center, saw the church and the beautiful little park. What a gem...to walk out of the maddening pace of the megamall and into a quiet, spiritual little spot. I was overjoyed to find the labyrinth. I have tried walking many, most notably, Grace Cathedral, in San Francisco, both inside and outside, however, the tourists and screaming children have taken the spirituality out of the experience. It was true Karma that no one was in the labyrinth on this day. No children, no tourists, no homeless. I was able to walk, ponder the day and the adventure and even apply the Canadian goose droppings strewn about as a not so subtle reference for the crap that life sometimes hands us! It was a lovely experience and I am so glad that chance put me there. read more
