When the service person attended the…read morehouse they said it would be another $240 for them to look and tell me what was wrong with the stove and if any parts were needed it would be an additional charge. This was a very old stove in a rental property, and it did not make sense spending that kind of money to fix it. I decided at those prices I would throw out the stove and I purchased a second hand Inglis for $300 which is working perfectly. I am sorry I wasted my time and money with JSK.

Absolutely horrible experience, wouldn't even wish this upon my worst enemy. Had a service rep come…read moreto my apartment to assess a broken dryer. Upon arrival, he continued to tell me how nice and expensive this machine was (thought this was an act to have the ability to charge me more based on the bias that this machine is "expensive"). Takes the top of the dryer off and looks around for a solid 7 minutes. Initially tells me that he has horrible news and he wished he did not have to deliver this news. Mentioned that my motor broke and he would find a quote within the next few minutes. Received a text message from one of his "colleagues" and he quoted that a new motor was $782. Inclusive of labour and other expenses, I was quoted close to $900 to fix my dryer motor. He mentioned that this motor is extremely hard to find and he would have to check availability or they would have to ship it from Germany. Next day, I call 10+ service providers to discuss this issue and the consensus was that this quote was too high. I receive a call from Same Day Appliance Repair that there are two motors left in Canada and I should place an order ASAP, luckily, based on my bad vibes from these people, I held off. Later that day I got in touch with the official parts distributor based in Quebec for this product (Blomberg). They mentioned that I could buy the motor for C$294 which includes tax and delivery and there were 33 motors in stock. Same Day Appliance Repair blatantly lied to me about the number of motors left in Canada and hiked the price by 2x. Thankfully, I used another service provider (Fix Appliances) and they came in and found that the motor is completely fine but an article of clothing was obstructing the vent. They simply removed a panel from the back of the dryer and pulled out the clothing article. Same Day Appliance Repair is an absolute joke. They think they are smart using some sales tactics and influencing biases on their clients but you couldn't trick me this time. Best of luck.

Called Hanks as they were they were suggested by Samsung to repair my dryer. The first time we had…read moresomeone come, he pulled apart my entire dryer and told us that they just needed to replace the drum belt but also replaced pulley's and a few other parts. The first repair person told us that we had a 3 month warranty. After the first repair, our dryer started making a nose that sounded like metal gridding against each other, we thought, maybe it's the new parts molding to the dryer but as the weeks progressed it got worse. So I called Hanks because their repair person was the last to touch the dryer. They send a different repair person to my house. Again, he pulls apart the entire dryer and tells me one of the parts is broken and I need to pay for it. NO THANKS...it's a part that you replaced. For some reason, the first repair man did not note it on the work order but verbally told us what he replaced. I told Repair man #2 that I was not paying for it and he can call who he needs to in order to do the job because had repair man #1 not touched what was not broken then we wouldn't be in the position. Repair man #2 called his "boss" who spoke with my husband and while speaking with my husband told him "why did you wait for 2 months" fair enough, but I have a warranty for a reason and I'm going to use it because again, it's a part that a repair person from Hank's replaced. Repair man #2's "boss" tells him to take him off of speaker phone not knowing I can still hear him and says to him "do you have the part? if so, replace it and tell them to fuck off and get the hell out of there" Perhaps you want to try and track who repair person #2 was speaking with and train them on their customer service and professionalism.
