BEWARE OF SCAM!!…read more Boston Dog Walks is a dangerous organization. We were so sad when our favorite dog walker went on to another business but felt relieved to have found BDW. However, on multiple occasions (due to my job), I happened to be home during our dog's regularly scheduled walks. And each time, NO ONE CAME! How long had we been paying these people who pretended to be walking our dog while collecting their weekly checks?! If only dogs could talk ... We had an agreement when we hired them that they would leave a note, indicating the time that they came, and at least 5 times, they "forgot" to leave a note. The final straw came when I stopped home mid-morning to find a note alleging that our dog had been walked at "12:20 pm." It wasn't even 11 AM!!!! When we fired BDW and demanded to have our keys back, Rachael (the owner) proceeded to tell us that our expensive, non-replicable keys to our building AND apartment were lost! A few days later, she corrected herself and said she realized that they were "broken," so we didn't need to worry. Needless to say, I changed the locks. The person who referred us to this organization has said that he has heard from multiple persons complaints such as ours, so I felt compelled to spread the word.

So first of all why is that the only two reviews yelp shows are one star? Then when I click on…read morefiltered results, it shows more then five 5 star reviews??? I think yelp is the scam not Boston Dog Walks! Ok now that I am done venting, I would never let another company walk my dog. Rachael, Jamal and the rest of the crew are AMAZING. They really love my dog and he is absolutely obsessed with them. Love that I can text last minute to set up a walk and know that my baby will be given exceptional care. I have also boarded him with Rachael and Jamal and I really appreciated the updates I received without even asking. Don't believe the one star reviews, click on the filtered (again, why???) reviews and get the real story!

OK - don't expect excellent communication, but Heather is super friendly and clearly loves dogs…read more She's done a great job with our mini bernedoodle and just loves having him there. Sad to see bad reviews here, because I just can't see it! You might have to leave your dog for 2 hours, maybe 4, but either way he has always come back looking great - he even got a little Christmas stocking last time! Just adorable. Would not hesitate to recommend Heather and Barks N Bubbles.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this totally deserves a perfect score!…read more We have 2 "high anxiety" rescue dogs who require attention, consistency, compassion, and love. Jason and Gaby have been our daily walkers for over a year and a half and are really perfect for our girls. Each day, the girls are walked 30 mins in the neighborhood. It is the best part of their day! Jason reinforces good habits and control over excitable dogs. I appreciate that he helps train them and gives lots of affection to both. Gaby is also very great with them. I like how they leave notes on how the walks went every time, including when they went to the bathroom and when they got treats. Communication is excellent and they are very flexible in working with our schedule. Best of all, they really connected with both us and our dogs. JC Dog Walkers are BY FAR the best dog walkers we have ever had in the life of our dogs (who are 6 years)!!

Gaby and Jason are so wonderful! I can't recommend them highly enough…read more It has been mainly Jason walking our dog who is sweet but reactive. Our dog is always excited when he comes to walk him. And we are always at ease since Jason knows how to manage his reactive tendencies. We consider him a trainer as much as a dog walker since he reinforces good behavior on their walks. Gaby is very responsive and makes arranging walks and dog sitting stays so convenient for us. They have been flexible when we have had to make changes and are just so easy to work with. I think it can be hard to find someone who is good with dogs and can manage the business side of things. Gaby and Jason are excellent at both. We only wish that we had found them earlier! A number of our neighbors also have Gaby and Jason walk their dogs. The dogs vary in size and temperament and Gaby and Jason are great with all of them. We all agree that they are the best!

From the beginning, my little Yorkie Ruru, immediately liked her. When I picked him up, he was perky, clean, happy and gorgeous! I'm very picky on who to bring my chihuahua, Nena, to for grooming since she is quite uncooperative…read morewhen it comes to her paws being held and struggles against anyone who tries to clip her nails. She won't even let us hold onto her paws long enough to clip her nails and we had her for nearly a year now. I also feel IMMENSE anxiety when I leave her with anyone, I constantly worry about her getting injured, causing trouble, or having a negative experience that would further impact her when it comes to grooming. Nena's nails are getting very long and finding a groomer during this time is difficult since everyone was booked for months in advanced. When Nena was done with her tidy-up appointment (which is $25 for a nail clipping and ear cleaning) with Ashley I was very happy with the results and her overall service! When we first came the Kritter Korner, I called Ashley to let her know we arrived so she can pick up Nena for us. Ashley gave as an estimated time of around 30-45 minutes, so we decided to go pick up some food during this timeframe. We were surprised when I received a text message way sooner than we expected from Ashley telling us that Nena was done, the surprise being rooted in how Nena is a very fussy little chihuahua and her last grooming with someone else took around 30 minutes. Ashley let us know that she couldn't file Nena's nails because she won't let her to, and I appreciate her honesty and I would prefer her not to go through with the nail filing if Nena really refuses it. I want every grooming experience to be as positive as possible for our little Nena. Besides, a couple a walks would naturally file her nails anyway. Aside from that, Nena's nails are clipped to the perfect length and she smelled faintly of lavender. I'm just ecstatic to have brought Nena here and will definitely be coming back when she needs another nail clipping. Ashley herself is a very amazing person, and I'm sure that factored in with Nena's cooperativeness. I also appreciate her texting and communicating through texts since my phone isn't really the greatest when it comes to calling. When I asked her for what she accepts as a payment, she told me she accepts CashApp, Venmo, and cash, so when you book a service with her make sure you have one of these ready!

Not to mention that they come out looking so great after being shampooed, groomed and pampered. I found her after searching for a place with GOOD reviews that could get him scheduled soon, and talked to Sarah who completely understood the situation, as well as how "needy" he would be since every time he had been dropped off somewhere lately, surgery or something scary had happened. Sarah was able to schedule him in just a few days, I dropped the boy off first thing in the morning and he was definitely soothed by her calming personality.  When I picked him up a couple of hours later, he looked terrific and wasn't as crazed as he usually is after he has been without me!  Sarah is in a room by herself, so it was just a one-on-one with music, so he wasn't freaked out by a lot of dogs running around and barking. Sarah understood the situation of a sweet pup who is just getting older with medical issues (cancer and arthritis), and that made me feel so much better.  She operates her grooming business as All that Jazz Grooming, you can reach  her there or connect through Karyn at the Dirty Doodle (love that name!!). She also has lots of pictures of grooming clients on Facebook (I didn't get a picture of him that day since so much was happening and I forget... bad me!).  Woof Woof!
