The restaurant is filthy and the food takes forever. Plus, there are menu that are no longer available and it seems that some of the ingredients that are being used are cheaper lower quality versions. Just not what I've experienced with torchy's in the past. read more

I'll preface my post by saying this is the only Torchy's I've ever been to, but I've been several times and it clearly met my very high expectations. The menu is excellent--I love the Trailer Park, the Republican, and the fajita flavors, as does my wife, but she almost always gets the Crossroads. The ingredients are fresh, and while these tacos aren't cheap the portions are generous. I'm very surprised the ratings aren't higher, because this place is my go-to date night with my wife, and I've been to A LOT of restaurants. read more

Worst service ever. Order was supposed to be ready at 7:35 and didn't get it until after 8. We only got it because we finally asked again. Then we got home and they forgot part of our order. So frustrating and will never be going back. read more

My husband and I went for first time and placed an order to go inside. We ordered, paid, and waited inside for our food. The couple who ordered after us, recieved their food. Another man and young man who came in after us got their food. After 15 minutes of waiting we asked the waitress about our order and she said she would check on it. No response after another 5 minutes. Order finally came out after 20 plus minutes. People who ordered after us were leaving after they had eaten their food as we were getting money back. Had the Baja Shrimp and Crossroads (brisket) tacos (to go). It took a bit longer to get them than I expected, but they were both good. I saw "Street Corn" on the menu and asked if it was really $4.85 and the lady just rang it up. I asked again and she said yes; I told her that was ridiculous and I would not pay that for it. They must have $4 profit in each ear!! One of the staff, behind the counter left his mask down for a while and when he gave me my order, he didn't say a word (no thank you, come again, nothing). I left a tip, but wish I hadn't. When I got my order home, there were no napkins in the bag. Same thing when I got an order at the Popeye's drive thru, the day before. However, at Burger King's drive thru, I got a hand full. Don't understand why any food place would not put napkins with to go orders. read more

Me and my friends came out tonight, after ordering we waited 45 minutes and still hadn't gotten our food. We had to go up to a worker and ask for our food, which hadn't been made yet. When we went to go make a second order, my friends food took 30 minutes to get to our table. Bailey was working on the register and was super helpful and took care of everything when we brought the problem to her!!! She was the best part of our experience tonight!! read more

My girl's and went to Torchey's and did the take out. It was a disaster!! I have never given a 1 before and this hurts me to do! But seriously it was a failure. We went on a Tuesday. my daughter went to the outside order both and placed a very simple order. She paid and then got back in the car. We waited and waited. Saw some other people that had gotten there after us getting their food. So I had her run back up to see what was up?! Well they said we are working on it right now. It had been 45 min! How is it possible they were just starting to make it? 30 minutes later I tell my daughter forget it let's go home! She goes back up she said we want to cancel it and the manager tells her that we will have to wait two days to get our money back. Ok fine. This was on September 22 and I know that because it was the 4 year anniversary' of my heart transplant. I wait about a week, no refund. So last week I call and say hello I didn't get food and still no money. The partner said oh I got I got it. The computer said it just went through. Guess what, it is now October 6th still no food and no refund. I had been super excited to try this place out. Now I'm just bummed. Don't bother coming here. read more

Just tried torchy's for the first time in my life and it is unfortunate that it has left such a bad taste in my mouth, pun intended. I asked for my food to go and the server or someone from the kitchen, I couldn't tell, brought it out on dishes like it was dine-in, no big deal. However, it took him 20 minutes to poor chips from a plate into a bag. He then brings out two bags. I take them and go home thinking this was everything I ordered. Upon going to eat my food, I realize that he put the chips in one bag and queso in the other. My taco is nowhere to be found. I go back to the restaurant and ask about it and it still isn't done. This is now an hour after I ordered and I'm watching a table full of people that were in line behind me finish eating and leave and I'm still waiting for one taco. I get home and open my food, and everything that I received was made wrong. Again it is unfortunate that this was such a poor experience but for that many things to go wrong, it makes me think that I won't be going back. read more

Giving them 2 stars because their queso is really good. Thought the tacos were okay, decided to try it the second time through a pick up order and that was my mistake. Took the food home and NONE of the order came with avocados.. 4/6 of our tacos should have had avocados on them, and then they forgot our guacamole. I don't know if they were out of avocados that day or what, but when I'm paying 3-5 dollars per taco I really expect all the ingredients. A heads up, call a head, letting us know when we picked up our food or having something other than "I don't know why that happened?" when we called back with no offer of a refund, would have been nice. Literally would have taken any sort of explanation. I even double checked the website to make sure you didn't have to check the box for all the ingredients to be there. The meat was bland so we just dipped our tacos in the queso for some spice. Just double check your to go orders before you leave if this is a place you enjoy. read more
