I purchased 2 tops and because they both were defective with rips, I went to store to return them less than 24 hours from when I bought them. Since I had looked at their merchandise the night before, there were no items my size that I liked to replace the ones I had bought. I was told they wouldn't refund my credit card. To make things worse, I never received the email receipt and was not told of their return policy which is store credit only. The young lady working there was extremely nice but could not give me refund even after discussing it with the store owner. I spoke with a very condescending owner who was extremely NOT customer friendly. I was very polite throughout the whole process. While I was outside the store speaking to my credit card company about this, the owner called the police on me and told them that I threatened to throw a brick through their window. I felt like a criminal. The store clerk verified to the police officer that I never made those threats and that all I wanted was a refund for ripped items I did not want. I now have to go to court to dispute something that I had no fault in. This is a HORRIBLE place to shop that is not customer friendly in any way. I hope the store clerk that was there finds a better place to work. I will NEVER shop there or any of their other stores again!!!

The needs of the children were highlighted and they were most definitely seen and recognized for their talents. The entertainment was phenomenal, full of energy with an extensive catalog of music. People gathered, danced ate great food, played in the Bouncy House and were joyful today on Clinton Street.. Shout out to the Africàn restaurant next door serving the delicious jolof rice and baked Halal chicken. Woodstack provided the burgers both turkey and beef, beef hot dogs, snacks, beverages, water, vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream topped everything with a grand price of FREE to the community and all attendees. Woodstack gave clothing with school supplies in backpacks to the children and it was deeply appreciated. I tell you these people from Woodstack are humble so be sure to patronize their business along with the nearby African Halal serving Restaurant both neighbor on Clinton Street! I had a blast with my son and we are from Bergen County. We were supposed to meet my sister in law there who was visiting from California at a local take out joint. We missed her but ended up welcomed to the Block Party given by Woodstack. So check them out. You won't be disappointed. I definitely intend to patronize both businesses before the month of September 2024 ends. I had a Great Time and they made my day today!!! Love, Miss Chyrel
