The usual fare is here: sodas and chips and what not. Local olives and oils and things. You can't go wrong with a grape Fanta and a bag of Funyuns. Except, you know, for like, the massive gastrointestinal duress that will ensue. Of course, there's also the little matter of a big supermarket opening up across the street since the last time I screamed through this town too fast and got written up by a CHiPie. Seriously, that was 16 years ago! It happens, but really, the place seems to have grown a lot. Weaverville, we hardly knew ya! But when I pass through, I still like your little mini mart best.

Immediate care and reassurance for a frazzled traveler was given over the phone by the night manager and the day manager went out of her way on her own time to stop by the local FedEx place to overnight my purse back to me. There are human guardian angels in Mt. Shasta, and Jessica, Daisia, and Matthew are three of them! Eat and get gas…read more Actually, this is the ONLY gas station in town. Some of pumps take credit/debit cards, so you can get gas in the middle of the night even if the store is closed. It costs an extra 10 cents per gallon with a card.... The little convenience store has the usual stuff, and a grill in the back if you're up to a burger or a deli sandwich. The store opens fairly early on workdays (6 AM, I think?), and it's a hot spot for stand-up coffee drinkers.....
