A creepy, blond hair guy hanging out with the cashier burped loudly about 2-3 ft from my face. I did not react or say anything. It was very uncomfortable. I would not recommend stopping at this station, especially females traveling alone. Location is on 299 about mid way through town. Small, local station that I wanted to support. My mistake.

Eat and get gas…read more Actually, this is the ONLY gas station in town. Some of pumps take credit/debit cards, so you can get gas in the middle of the night even if the store is closed. It costs an extra 10 cents per gallon with a card.... The little convenience store has the usual stuff, and a grill in the back if you're up to a burger or a deli sandwich. The store opens fairly early on workdays (6 AM, I think?), and it's a hot spot for stand-up coffee drinkers.....

Before I even had the chance to pay, the clerk ripped the items out of my hands, accused me of stealing a beer, and ordered me out of the store. I had already paid for my fuel. Being treated like a criminal in front of others was humiliating and completely unprofessional. Management needs to review the cameras from that time, train their staff properly, and issue an apology for how I was treated.

Immediate care and reassurance for a frazzled traveler was given over the phone by the night manager and the day manager went out of her way on her own time to stop by the local FedEx place to overnight my purse back to me. There are human guardian angels in Mt. Shasta, and Jessica, Daisia, and Matthew are three of them!
