Charlie, who delivers from Blue Star Gas is very rude and impatient. I have a locked gate to…read moreprevent my dogs from escaping. When Charlie arrives, I unlock the gate. This time, I was in the restroom when he arrived. He stated he arrived at 9:25am, as you can see in the attached photos. I made the attempt to call him immediately after hearing him ring the doorbell, so he would be aware of me being in the restroom. I even got notified on my ring camera if him leaving a minute later at 9:26am, as shown in the picture. I tried flagging him down, yelling his name, and calling him as he started his truck and took off. Very frustrating and unprofessional. I never had issues with the last representative that delivered, but with Charlie, it has been miserable. Because of this, I have canceled services and went with another gas company that is going to service for 2.47 per gallon. So in a way, this is also saving me more. Win win. Bye-bye blue star.

One year they put a meter on my tank that reports levels back to the office, how convienent is that. Adam calls me when I get down to 20%, how thoughtful. In life or business, you're either getting better or getting worse. Over 3 decades Blue Star Gas has done just that. I bake them cookies because I admire how they service the Mount Shasta residents.

If you are looking for a local propane company with hard working drivers who are careful, respectful, and timely then this is the company. Pricing is close to the same for every propane company, some will try to lure you with low startup prices then provide crappy service. Read the reviews fior some of the other companies and you will see they are all over the board. Carlos runs a tight ship. Thank you

Where do I even start about this company! Especially the redway office for one they are only open…read morewhen they feel like working, no one ever answers the phone if you call. I've never met ruder women working inside the office when it is open! I own 13 rentals in southern humboldt and amerigas used to serve them all. The first time I had a problem with them about 4 years when my tank had empty completely and I was under the impression I was sign up for auto refills and would be bill. So at this time when I had to call another office to get a hold of my main office to get someone to come fill up my tank they said it was gonna be a few weeks! At this time I had a new born baby I couldn't wait a few weeks I begged to the lady what could she do to get someone out in the next few days she said if you tip the driver he will come now! Like honestly how ridiculous. Let's go on, so two of my cottages tanks are right next to each other a entire winter they were billing my tenant double for her tank and the tank Next's to hers getting them confused. When she had caught on they never refunded her money! Let's go on to another tenant went out of country for 2 months and no one was staying at his house and yet he was still billed for using 50% of his tank. Hmmmm that is weird there are multiple other similar situations I could go on about but honestly it's just disturbing on how this company wants to steal from everyone well at least the redway office. So my husband and I finally decided to switch to blue star during the switch blue star notified us that 5 out of 10 tanks were leaking like WOW amerigas not doing your job! And now that the tanks are completely off my property which it took them 1 month to get them now they are charging my tenants a fee which in the beginning of us switching I was told it was going to be waved! But once again amerigas is thieves and they are just trying to get the last bit they they can! If I were you go to any other gas company cause you honestly don't want to deal with anyone from the redway office.
