My husband ordered the 3 Quesabirrias with consommé, and I ordered the Birria Chimichanga. Let me just say, that chimichanga was fried to perfection. Crispy on the outside, packed with tender, flavorful birria on the inside, and covered with queso and pico. Every bite was absolutely delicious. I also added a side of rice, and I'm glad I did. The rice was fluffy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor--not an afterthought like it is at some places. The consommé was my first experience with it. It's traditionally served for dipping, but honestly, I found myself sipping it like a cup of soup. It was rich, savory, and so good that I didn't want to waste a drop. Everything arrived fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. It's not often that delivery food makes me curious about who's back in the kitchen, but whoever prepared this meal clearly takes pride in what they do. The only reason I'm stopping at four stars is because I haven't visited the restaurant itself yet. Based on the food alone, though, I'll definitely be making a trip in person to see if the dine-in experience is as good as what arrived at my door.

Fifteen minutes later, they again confirmed my order and said they must have given it to someone else. Again I got "we're making it right now". When I got the order 10 minutes later, I confirmed the contents twice before taking it only to find out we were missing something, which required going back to the truck and reconfirming the order. I saw multiple other people only get partial orders. Outside of the disorganization of those running the trucks, our quesabirria tacos were mostly cheese with only meat in half the tacos. Bison, baby, bison. Where can you get anything with bison for less than 10 bucks? It is the best steak meat you've ever had. Full disclosure, I do know the chef, but you know how it is. You go once for a friend, but you don't necessarily always go back. He told me he is getting veggies from a farmer's market hookup. You can totally tell. Everything is so fresh. Now that the weather is better, I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

They offer two sizes, and we ordered the smaller regular Americana Cheesesteak, the Cartel, a shared order of fries, and two fountain drinks. Our total came to about $35, which felt like a good value for the amount of food. Service was friendly and they served our food to the table very fast. The fries were your typical frozen fries and came unseasoned, but that wasn't a big deal. We added our own seasoning. One thing to note is that they only serve Pepsi products. That's a big bummer for me because I'm a Dr Pepper girl, but it isn't a complete dealbreaker because they also offer tea. Now let's talk about my sandwich. It was loaded with so much meat that I couldn't even fit it in my mouth! I ended up taking some of the meat out and adding it to the fries, which turned out yummy. The steak was well seasoned, and the lettuce, tomato, and mayo ratio tasted perfect. If you're looking for a hearty cheesesteak that will definitely fill you up, Wise Guys is worth checking out.
