The lodge is rustic and cozy (everything you…read morewant after a long day of outdoor winter sports) and the people are some of the nicest I've ever met. First we did a snow shoe tour through the sugar bush with one of the guides. Beautiful and a great introduction to snowshoeing. We then did a cross country ski lesson and then had a blast discovering just how hard cross country really is. (Note to down hill skiers like myself, there are more differences than similarities between CC and downhill skiing.) We actually loved this whole experience and the Trapp property so much we came back a second day and did the ~6mi (10K) snowshoe trail up to the cabin, which was one of the more magical and memorable experiences of my lifetime. It was just a perfect day with perfect snow and scenery. It truly MADE my Christmas vacation. All in all, this was more than a five star experience for us. I would honestly like to just move in and sit by their fire for the rest of my life.

High energy exercises combined with strength-training for core muscles challenged members of the class (each at their level), which worked for all of us. Stephanie has a marvelous sense of humor and inspired all of us to keep laughing and enjoying her ever-constant pace , both at the barre and on the mat. The class was full and welcoming to newcomers, which was reassuring. I was impressed with both the professionalism and down -to -earth quality of Stephanie whose humility and kindness went far in conducting a great class. Bravó, Stephanie ! Thank you for an inspiring and productive class.
