I got quotes from both places and the other place quoted $100 more than Allatoona Towing. Also, 'AT' shared their formula for calculating what they charge... I like that So the other place had a decently fancy website and offered the option to text, not just call... that seemed cool. But I don't see those 'perks' added up to $100 difference. Tim was awesome! Answered my call promptly, let me know the basic info, and said we could touch base again the following week to nail down the schedule for a pickup. Tim drove really great, solid driving performance and tie down too... keeping my car secured on his flat bed... didn't move an inch. Took his time without driving like a maniac or tailgating people (like I've seen some jerks in wreckers do) All around Solid Service... and very well mannered too... Thanks Tim, Allatoona Towing... hope I don't ever need your service again... but if I do, You're my first choice! Cheers! ~Net

Yall let y'all's tire manager just yell at people and snap at them and talk to employees any type of way. People make mistakes and yall want perfection. That's not how you keep workers around. Yall had no issue drinking up my money bc yall can't keep drinks in the fridge. Yall had no issue with any of the other tire techs making the same mistakes. Apparently yall got no issue putting my family on the street either. Family don't do that. If this is how yall do business no wonder you can't keep good help. We…read morehad an appointment at 10 am to be seen, arrived prior to the appointment time and sat and waited, an hour past and I ask about the time and there was a guy said that they were behind, I told him that I would be back, I left the truck and went on with my day. Around 2:30-3pm I called and they said that they just got it back to look at it and they told me what needed to be done to fix the problem that the truck was having, I gave consent to move forward with the repairs. Time went on it was after 5pm and I had not heard from them, I called and they said they were putting everting back together it would be ready shortly. But while telling me that he said that one of the brake lines wasn't working properly. So instead of saying "hey let me keep it overnight and get the break line fixed" they put everything back together and let us pay and drive off. Got down the road and the truck was doing the same thing it was doing before. So the following morning we called back down there and they said bring it back and they would make it right. Took it back down there and left it and later that day they called and told me that it was ready and it would be $180ish dollars, I said excuse me? He told me the cost again, I said sir I just paid you almost $900 yesterday and you think I'm going to pay additional money today because you or your techs didn't fix the truck correctly? You have me mistaken, I'm not paying any additional. Keep in mind the tech told me the day before that they were "throwing" it back together, while also telling me there was an issue with the brake line. So they knew it was going to be an issue and just wanted to get paid and send me on my way, which put my LIFE in jeopardy. What if the brakes completely failed & I had an accident and got killed or killed someone else? Jim's tire doesn't care about you as a person/customer. They are only looking for the money. The "manager" called me and told me that he would take the labor off the bill but I still needed to pay for the parts that they used. Then he said he was going to erase the whole invoice and I could go pick up the truck. He knew what they had done and he knew it wasn't right, he didn't want any issue. I told him I was going to let everyone I knew know how they done us and that we would never use them for service again. I would suggest that you do the same, avoid them at all cost. Brian helped me with my purchase and was training another employee at the time and he was super professional and super friendly. While I knew what hitch I wanted I had no idea about anything else. Brian helped me with making sure I had the hitch and the lighting adapter (cause you kind of need brake lights on your trailer). After everything was picked out I set up my installer appointment. On install day, I had something come up at work and had to drop it off. No problem. They not only accommodated my schedule change but went ahead and installed everything working 1.5 hours! Amazing! And today I finally had a chance use the hitch. Everything worked great, the lights worked and it all felt so secure. I won't hesitate to come back it I need any more trailering/hitch equipment.

First, even throw my vehicle was towed mid-afternoon, they were not willing to tow it to our shop in Smyrna because of traffic. I've used Marietta Wrecker and a few other companies 10+ times (for business) and they never had any pushback on towing the vehicle whenever and wherever we needed. Second, they told us they would tow the vehicle to our shop the next day, but it took them 4 days to tow it back. Furthermore, they did not communicate with us to let us know they were running behind. We reached out them multiple times and they kept kicking the can down the road. Not a big deal in the grand scheme, but I want to work with people who do what they say they will do. Finally, they charged us $6K for the tow which seemed exorbitant based on past experiences. Since I'm not in the industry, I sent 20+ pictures and videos of the wreck to a large local company we've used many times to price check. This other company said they would have charged about half and said many of the charges on the invoice were inflated. All in all, this company provided poor service, didn't keep their word, and charged twice market rates. I'd caution anybody who is considering using them (especially businesses).

I've been taking my cars for several years to Midtown Tire. I've always felt they did a good job…read morefor me. However, I just took my Jeep Renegade in to repair a power window regulator and they quoted me $2700 to repair it. When I called, first they said about $500 of that was "worst case scenario" in case they needed extra parts. Then they said the motor was bad too was not true. When I challenged them on that, then they backtracked and said it was recommended to replace it since everything was already taken apart. When I asked how much it was they said the motor was also $500. An OEM motor from Mopar costs $188. Then when it came to the regulator assembly, they said that was $1200. Same thing. The Mopar OEM replacement for that part is about $670. And that is OEM replacement parts, with no discount. I declined the work and just paid them the $188 for the labor they did. As someone who has been a loyal customer and given them literally thousands of $$$ of business, this was offensive and sleazy to try to fleece me in this manner. I flat out caught them lying to me, and then they were trying to mark-up the parts by a ridiculous amount. I won't give anymore of my business to them, nor recommend them unless they can explain why they felt this was a fair estimate and can explain it. I need an explanation other than "we only buy certified OEM so we can guarantee the work/warranty" nonsense. Had they come to me and quoted me ~$700 for the part and then add on the labor, I would've still not liked it, but the math would've made sense and I would've done the work. $2700??? Come on folks. I have all my documentation and proof. Do they? Update 8/6/26: I ordered a used regulator from a 2023 Jeep. Put it in myself in a couple of hours and works great. Cost me $100. Yeah, I'll NEVER do business with Midtown again.
