I was at Top Cuts Hair Salon this evening located at 601 Sackville Dr, Lower Sackville, N.S , B4c 2S4. When I walked into this location there were no associates there to assist me in a hair cut, plus no customers in the salon. I thought that maybe they were in the washroom so I waited for 10 minutes, still no one. I thought to myself, wow...no one is here? I waited a little longer then this heavy set short haired blond lady walked with food in her hand. I said to her oh great Hello...I would like to get my hair cut....her response was I am closing up. This was at 7:28pm, I said to her I thought your sign said you were opened till 8pm. She then replied with, well tonight I am closing early. I asked her who her manager was. She informed me that she was. I never got her name.
I let her know that I was very disappointed with her customer service. I could not believe this was how a manager handled her business. I am sure you know that word of mouth is a business's number one way of advertising. With poor customer service one person tells 50 people and with great customer service one person may tell 20 people. I take personal pride in exceptional customer service. I want to make each encounter memorable, make it one and done for the client. I am now left with a very bad taste of Top Cuts and will probably never frequent there again.
The worst part of all of this is I don't think this manager even cared about losing a customer. So sad and very embarrassing for the Top Cuts brand. read more
