I've stopped here a couple times late at night for a quick wash, although I'd recommend using these types of washes sparingly to avoid any scratches or paint damage that can happen over time from the brushes rubbing the vehicle. I've heard people complain elsewhere about damage to their side view mirrors here, but if you always fold them like I do prior to entering the wash, you should be okay. The one other oddity about this location worth mentioning is that the interior lights do not activate once your inside the wash, even at night. This creates a bit of a creepy factor once you roll into the tube and are sitting in the dark waiting for the machine to do its magic... However, this doesn't effect the actual effectiveness of the carwash - just don't forget to lock your doors once you're in park! And lastly, you'll receive a small bonus if you select the "platinum" wash. Both times I've been here and selected this option, the machine only charged me $10.00 though the stated amount is $12.00. Backstory- Truck has always been meticulously maintained since I purchased it new in 2021…read more Originally it was fully coated and has a bunch of PPF on the front end by New Image- amazing shop, specializing in PPF, but over the last few years, the truck has seen some abuse, and only hand washes until the dealer totally destroyed it while there for an extended visit for some maintenance. In came Phil and his team to save the day- and my sanity. Stopped by the shop and Phil walked up to me and immediately saw what was I was referring to. (See before pic) He and his team totally turned it around and brought it back to when it was at its prime. Inside and out this thing is MINT. The paint is a mirror- the reflections are crazy- and I look forward to having a fresh coating for easy maintenance going forward. Inside the leather is smooth and supple and conditioned, glass is gleaming, and there isn't a speck of dog hair or anything inside. Total reset and spotless. I could not be happier with how it came out!! And Phil kept me updated DAILY with the status of my truck; with videos and progress reports. This was such a cool thing to do. And much appreciated. If you're OCD about your vehicles or just need a GREAT detail Philthy's is the place. Phil is an awesome dude and he and Kody of New Image Detail (under the same roof now!) should be your ONLY considerations for anything detail related. They're the best of the best!! I needed my car detailed to pass inspections at the Dallas VPC and Phil went above and beyond!…read more First, I contacted Phil last minute and he was able to schedule me in 5 hours before my VPC appointment time on a Friday. Second, the website stated: "Steam cleaning of all interior surface areas. All door panels, seats and instruments cleaned. Interior vacuumed & glass cleaned. Hand wash exterior, engine bay, undercarriage, and wheel faces cleaned. Exterior protection applied to all painted surfaces." I had dirt and little rocks everywhere from tracking it in my car (it has been raining a lot in Texas), as well as white pet hair in the back seat, and Phil and his team figuratively gave me a BRAND NEW car. When my car was being inspected at the VPC he said, "I'd never have guessed you owned a dog because this interior detailing is spotless." I was already impressed with Phil's work when he showed me the finished product, and I was even more shocked at Phil's work when I was watching the inspector do his review of all the cracks and crevices. Truly amazing attention to detail and craftsmanship! Overall, I can't thank Phil and his team enough for making my car spotless and for helping me pass inspections at the VPC. We found getting the subscription works best for us! If you only wash your car twice a month, you've almost covered the subscription. If you wash it more than twice a month, it pays for itself! Now it's no different than any other drive-thru carwash. I noticed 3 weeks ago they started putting in less than quality brushes. The last 3 times I have gone through this wash, I am now having to pull the brush material out of the seams on the vehicle. They have stopped using the scrub brush on the front and rear of the vehicle. Get used to stuck on bug splatter! Yes, I heard the sales pitch of the new bug cleaning agents they have implemented, which by the way DID NOT remove any heavy bug splatter. I had to use their cleaning towels and a bottle of ozarka to remove it. They no longer tape your rear wiper blade down. Be prepared for that to be broken! They have removed the gentlemen who used to hand dry it after leaving the wash. The agents used in the wash/wax cycles do not appear to be as good. My wheels did get as clean as they used too. I was there last Sunday and they had 4 people cancel their memberships before 10am all disappointed in the way that the carwash has let us down on the quality of wash and service we were accustomed to receiving. Instead of focusing so much on their pressurized selling technique's for memberships, they need to get back to the basics of operating a unique and wonderful carwash. I hate when you tell them NO I do not want a membership they keep hounding you through the entire payment process. DO NOT stand their holding my credit card and proceed to give me a final sales pitch before handing it back to me. Also..... Why are you not allowing those individuals who already have a membership to just not pull up to the gate and proceed, instead you have a team over their trying to up sale those people too. You DO NOT need a team of 4 selling memberships. Common! What is wrong with corporate! Sad to say they want you to pay more for a wash that is nowhere close to the quality it used to be. Now that is humorous! I live in Fort Worth, so I would always wait to wash my car on Sunday because I'm in town that day. This car wash used to be unique and special! The team used to make sure you were treated right and took extra care to ensure the vehicle looked clean after leaving the wash cycle. That is no longer the case.... I have been a faithful customer for 5 years. I can honestly say this wash has lost their way and Corporate needs to wake up and give the customers the type of car wash they had come to love. I spoke to 3 team members at the wash last weekend expressing all these items of concern and they said that it was out of their control. This is why I am blaming corporate. The QR code on the wall is specifically for evaluation of the team, they asked me to not use that as it directly impacts them. I asked how to contact corporate and they did not know. I was surprised they didnt just run them through the car wash. Hehe But usually they have carts with clean wipes and window cleaner. Today i didnt see any window cleaner. The car wash prices run from $20 to $30. They will try to sell you a package deal for a monthly fee. They offer good deals, but usually I wash my vehicles at home, and have an occasional Tidal wash. The Tidal spray waxes are definitely way easier than the hand waxes at home. Good quality as Tidal guarantees their washes...even if it rains.
