Take your business elsewhere. My son is a college student who lives in College Station all year so he needed a local dentist. For his first appointment he was there close to 3 hours which included sitting in the chair for about 45 minutes with no one coming. The next two times he had scheduled appointments and they were cancelled within one week of the appointment by the office because they didn't have a hygienist for someone over the age of 16. What? When you call you don't speak directly to the office. You talk to a phone service or someone who has to contact the office. Ridiculous and unprofessional. We will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

Canceled Appointment without calling,texting or emailing me about it... Had bad vibes coming into this place based on the reviews and "Kool Smiles" ratings. So i had a bad toothache and scheduled an appointment here because they were one of the dentist that my insurance covered. Came in and the desk women told me that my appointment was canceled because there was no dentist that work on adults that came in or something like that ?! yet i had an appointment already schedule time in advance for a 21+ customer. She just rescheduled me for an appointment a month away, but debating even coming back and giving this place another chance. read more

The worst. Scheduled an appointment yesterday for both of my toddlers; gave all my insurance information over the phone. Showed up early just for them to cancel the appointment when I arrived. They said they called to verify insurance & no one answered. No one called me and they didn't even have the correct information on file. Very unprofessional and terrible first impression. Topaz Dentistry by far exceeded all expectations for me. Appointment scheduling was simple for 3 kids to be seen. Got a text to confirm the appointment, which as a busy mom, I need. We arrived. Minimal paperwork to fill out for each child as they had previous insurance information pulled up. They needed me to confirm something with insurance, provided me the number, and it took maybe 3 minutes to complete. This was due to me, not the place of business, and still the receptionist went above and beyond to make it hassle free. We were seen within 10 minutes of checking in, which was ample time for that phone call and restroom break for the kids. They had Paw Patrol on the TV -- thank you!! All 3 kids sat in their chairs at the same time, one large room. One by one they got a cleaning or X-Ray, so it kept rolling right through. My 6 year old lost a tooth previously but had a tooth fragment stuck in her gum. We were given options to let it fall out naturally or have them remove it. It's been bothering her so we opted for removing. They ushered us to another room and took care of that seamlessly. Bedside manner and patience was top notch. Thats highly important to me as a mom. When we were ready to leave, checking out was easy, and I was approached with a pamphlet about free ortho appointment. Normally I do not like to be solicited, but it was warranted as two of my children are of age to have evaluations. I said no at first, again busy mom here, but she politely pointed out that most kids are seen by age 7, and just call when convenient if I would like. I appreciated her not being pushy, asked how long it would take, she said 20 minutes, so I agreed because my child is 9. They evaluated two of my kids, gave them toys, made the entire experience enjoyable for us all. We have tried other dentists and I'll admit I wasn't impressed with my first visit, but had nothing negative to report. We kept going back and I'm glad we did. Everyone will have an experience of their own, but we have had four great experiences with Topaz now. Thank you to your staff for being amazing!! read more

This has been the absolute WORST dentist I have ever dealt with. They continuously cancel our appointments, do not offer adequate reschedule times and made us wait OVER AN HOUR for an appointment before I had to ASK to be seen. I was then told we would have to wait longer because they "are behind". No apologies by their "lead" and when I asked to see the manager, atygrett, hiding in her office, I was simply given a sticky note with her email address. She refused to speak to me in person. I was also given a corporate phone number to make a formal complaint. Do not go to this office and I will be making a formal complaint with insurance as well.​​ read more

Look elsewhere, this office doesn't know how to do anything, I tried to make a denture they made a fool of me, I made more than a thousand trips to try the denture and it ended up being about 4 molds or about 3 or four now I use a temporary one and to this day no one made me a nice set of dentures, the last one i thought i had done damaged the roof of my mouth, i got there and left it at reception im waiting for my refund almost 5,000 and they told me they would not return it. but i'm just giving them time to get my money back in another two weeks. Meanwhile I'm posting on everything from ads to social media posts until they deposit my money back I don't even go there I can't even look at those people making me look like an idiot. Terrible! Horrendous! Stay away! After driving 2 hours to pick up my mother for her appointment and another hour to get there, I was told that her appointment was cancelled. We were told they weren't seeing adults this week. No phone call from the office to let us know. The office manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. Her story was that appointments are cancelled if you don't call them a week ahead of time to confirm. They should let patients know this. If they had we certainly would have done so. She only wanted to place blame on us with no offer of apology. read more

When I first got to the office it took an hour to verify my insurance for some reason and they were able to determine what my bill is before I was even taken back. That should've been my first red flag. The second one should've been when I had to ask to see the doctor for the tooth ache I had which was literally the reason on my appointment note, and then the doctor didn't even introduce herself or address me directly. I didn't understand why my issues were not even going to be taken care of at the appointment when that was the whole reason I was there, and to top it off the staff treated me like an idiot when I told them it makes no sense for me to go there for an issue and have them tell me to come back in two weeks for the same issue. Overall if you're looking to waste hours of your life in the worst dentist office then go ahead but I'll go ahead and wish Yelp allowed 0 stars. read more

Rude! Cancel all your appointments because they over book themselves. Office is poorly ran! They don't send referrals over to surgeon and you find out the day of surgery. Then they don't call to rebook you, so surgeon is full. Leaving daughter hurting with a tooth that is sinking. You keep paying for braces without treatment. Brackets and bite blocks come off 10 minutes after we leave office and they refuse to fix it fix for months. 1 yr of braces and maybe 5 treatments. They have switched staff so many times cancellations are everyday life for them, even after 3 months of waiting. Even the orthodontist is leaving. read more

The worst experience ever. I made an appointment for a cleaning yesterday as a new patient. Not only was the building dirty and torn up, there was no separation between patient chairs so I could see and hear everyone same as they could see and hear me. Super uncomfortable. Then 2 hours into the appointment, I still hadn't gotten my teeth cleaned and never even saw a dentist!! The hygienist diagnosed me with a condition and told me I'd have to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a deep cleaning. THE HYGIENIST. Not the dentist. She doesn't even have the authority to diagnose patients!! When I was there, I told them I wanted to wait to get a second opinion so they let me leave without even talking to a real doctor. This morning, before I'm able to call any other offices for an appointment, their office calls and says the DENTIST looked at my file and x-rays and said that I actually DONT need the deep cleaning and everything is actually not bad at all. They recommended I see a different hygienist if I come back from treatment and cleaning. Hell no. I am beyond upset, what a horrible way to treat new patients. Terrible experience, do not choose this office!!! read more

The lady in front Beny was sweet! They immediately called my kids to begin stays. The dentist informed us on what each child needed. They were also able to do treatment the same day. My kids also got to see the Orthodontist Dr. JP was very informative in explaining and showing me why my child would need braces. Definitely would recommend this place. read more

Literally just left this place and I am so mad it's unbelievable the hygienist there cut my daughters gum so bad that she's still bleeding 15 mins later, and is in pain! During my daughters cleaning I told her she was bleeding, she was bleeding so much that blood was squirting all over her face, I told her my daughter was bleeding and she said and I quote "no she's not it's the toothpaste see it's the toothpaste" when clearly it was not and I continued to express that she was bleeding the hygienist continued to tell me it was the toothpaste. After we left the appointment she told me she has a cut on her gum and it's bleeding I looked and it's a nice size cut on her gum right next to her tooth that's still bleeding! I called to let them know I was unhappy and that my daughter was in pain because of the cut the hygienist did and they said there is nothing they can do except talk to her! No I don't think so, my daughter is 8 and now is in pain! They are rude, they do not clean there instruments the way they should or anything else for that matter and not gentle at all with pediatrics! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! I can't stress that enough if you have kids DONT TAKE THEM HERE!!!!! read more

Dr Julian has been my kids dentist for years now. She is amazing!! She has lots of patience is sweet & great with the little ones. The dental assistants, Marissa Roni & Maggie are the best!! They treat all kids with respect, they are extremely kid friendly & treat us all like family! It's a very welcoming environment. My kids love the play room!
