The prices are the best in town even with financial support. I saved hundreds by bringing my girl Sukie here. The only suggestion I would make is to have the Veterinarian be more open to meeting the pet owners. I have to add that if the Veterinarian spent extra time meeting and greeting, it takes away from curing and caring for our beloved pets. Trust is essential and so far I have been very grateful for all the staff at Animal Aid - Spayed N Neuter. We need to keep this company around! Thank you all!! TDK

I do have another baby named Coco. I would not take my animals to anyone else. Barbara Harrison So after giving this review I called to make an appointment for Coco. I was treated by a very rude and very unprofessional receptionist, She answered the phone by saying (hello). Did not identify where I was calling. I asked to talk to her manager and I was told they did not have a manager. So I want to say I will never darken the door of this animal hospital. Dr. Stege sold out her practice and they kept the name (Timberlane Hospital). They are hurting her reputation that she had had for at least 20 years.

Review - Timberland Animal Hospital BEWARE: Our dog went to…read moreTimberland Animal Hospital for a routine check-up. We were drawn by proximity, but the experience was shocking. The veterinarian pushed repeatedly for neutering and elective surgery despite our refusal. After a brief exam, which included a physical exam, we were told to collect urine and stool ourselves, even though lab work was already included in our $800+ bill. The vet personally called the next day to report normal lab results--which were later proven completely inaccurate. Less than a week later, our dog was diagnosed with stage 3 lymphoma by a specialist, who confirmed Timberland's labs could not have been correct. When we reported this, the vet was cold, defensive, and showed no empathy. She offered no acknowledgment of our distress or responsibility for the apparent errors. Would our dog's diagnosis be any different if Timberlane had done their job and provided the veterinary service they were supposed to provide - the answer is no, but I can tell you this is a very difficult time for us and all Timberland Animal Hospital did was make things that much worse. This was a gut-wrenching experience. Timberland failed to provide accurate testing, thorough care, or compassion. For anyone who cares about their pet's health--look elsewhere

Getting our dog diagnosed with a rash was $700+. They prescribed a lot of medicines, one actually worked and actually says 'long-term use' on the prescription. Many years ago I had a Havanese puppy, bought from a good breeder and came with shot records, showing appropriate Parvo immunizations. This very vet here in Tallahassee, Fla told me she "did not believe breeders" and re-immunized my puppy for Parvo. Guess what...my puppy almost died from PARVO... and she sent me a bill for over 1-2K for saving him. She then wrote a letter to CDC re her actions, who supposedly sanctioned her treatment. However, she refused me a copy of, or for me to read that letter!!! She never apologized or even acknowledged she owed us one.

We adopted 4 year old Stella because of her joyful energy and loved her right away. We quickly figured out that we were going to need real help learning how to work with her so that we could all live happily together. Kim is amazingly observant and perceptive. She listened to us and respected our personal styles and our lifestyle. She watched Stella closely and helped us learn how to watch her too. Kim helped us build and strengthen our relationship with Stella. As a result, Stella learned how to pay attention to us too. Kim blends elements of several training approaches to meet the different needs of her human and canine clients. Each session, she had new exercises that helped us make the next needed step. She taught us how to walk together and how to play safely together. She helped us learn ways that dogs communicate and how we could clearly communicate with Stella. She suggested books for us to read. We learned how to use rewards and praise to reinforce desired behavior. She taught us techniques to help Stella be around other dogs more appropriately. Kim is so smart and articulate and clearly loves working with dogs and their families. Our Stella is now a Livable Dog. We still have plenty of things to work on together but, thanks to Kim's training, we have the confidence and skills to meet much of what is ahead.
