This Start Pool Cleaner showed up when I was not present, let himself in through the side gate, without any prior announcement, and proceeded to do the cleaning without ever being asked to do so. I found out two months later that I owed them for cleanings that were never agreed to, and the owner came and changed my filter without my presence, which might have been better had he made it known in advance the actual day and time so that I could be there to pay attention to it. While they are very friendly, we became frustrated with the different crews showing up each week-- they left the gate open multiple times causing our dog to get out (despite signs and repeated reminders), and never clean the salt water system filter even after we showed it to them. This went on for about 9 months I would guess. The final straw was when they showed up to clean the pool while there was a painting crew present two weeks ago. They told the painters they would come back later but never returned. When we followed up with the office a few days later about when they were returning we were told they had already cleaned the pool, and provided us a photo as supporting evidence. I'm not sure who is responsible for that lie, however, we have two cameras pointed at our pool AND our gate monitoring company sends us texts every time someone on our list enters the neighborhood. Not to mention the pool was still visibly dirty with lots of leaves and debris. We moved on to a different company, it simply wasn't worth the hassle.

I bought an electric pool cleaner that was expensive but doesn't clog the filter and makes less wear on the pool motor. Unfortunately after 3 months it stopped working. After checking it out they said the motor went and would get it replaced quickly. They found out that the motor was on back order so they called the rep and told them to send me a new pool cleaner so I wouldn't have to wait for a back order. The owners are very proactive with customers and I am very appreciative of that.
