While I am sure that they build the meal to the budget and event type, each day has brought a delicious hot entree (for example, today was a fantastic vegetarian spinach and cheese pasta roll), a salad (the watermelon and arugula salad was pretty darn tasty), sometimes a side (if you have the cornbread, you MUST use the flavored butter spread), and always a great dessert (homemade chocolate chip cookies with crumbled bacon....need I say more?). Angela (on of the partners) and her team have been really attentive, including remembering the drink selections of those of us on the interview committee and bringing them out to us when we arrive. And they have been respectful of the meeting environment, including quickly and unobtrusively clearing things away while we meet with the candidates (or, today, silently serving individual warm bread puddings right after lunch was cleared). And the set-up of the serving platters and drinks is top notch. One of the things that they specialize in, and like to do, is catered parties in peoples homes. The (incredibly delicious) food was prepared and arranged beautifully right on time, and they were flexible to bring everything out as we needed it. They helped me move tables, offered suggestions for presentation, and offered to wrap up and set aside dessert for the bride and groom to enjoy later. Throughout the evening, they were on-point in service and attitude. They played a huge role in ensuring the reception was a success. I would work with them again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful photo opportunities all around the property. The bridal suite is GORGEOUS. It's set up like an actual beauty shop with 3 chairs and mirrors. Chandelier lighting and a huge mirror with stairs for the bride to be to get ready and make sure she looks her best. It was perfect for getting ready and extremely spacious. My husband and I stayed in the railroad 1 cottage and it was very quaint and beautifully decorated. Stocked with drinks, snacks, and coffee our cottage was very welcoming and a perfect stay for the wedding weekend. The owners, Jose and Marissa were so kind upon check-in and gave us some history of the property. Both of them actually worked the bar for the wedding and were so great. It was a truly beautiful wedding at a perfect venue.

When we told him the story, he was beyond excited to be a part of it, and he even told it at our wedding that was such a sweet and special touch that I didn't know he was going to do. Their communication and professionalism is top-notch, and they truly want to deliver The experience that you and your partner specifically want for your wedding. We asked for a party vibe, we didn't want to stop dancing the whole night, and we did not stop dancing! Nate jumped into the crowd with us which we wanted, and staying with us to songs all throughout the night. He even surprised us with a little bride versus groom battle, which gave us some of the best core memories we will ever have. I quite literally cannot say enough good things about our experience with Nate and amplify. The music selection was spot on, and we didn't even give him too much direction beyond just genres. They make sure you fill out a long form so they know specifically an exactly the kind of music you do or don't want at your wedding. He even edited my ceremony song for me so that I would have my favorite parts play while I was walking down the aisle. You want them as your DJ at your wedding, trust me! Let's start here... At 9pm, when the music stopped, our DJ…read moreDakota asked my bride if she wanted to end the wedding early because his WIFI wasn't working(WHAT!?!?). That's right, he didn't have music to play. One of our guests plugged their phone in and played off of her downloaded apple music. We were extremely clear that there would be absolutely NO profane music and he played multiple UNEDITED EXPLICIT songs including the song during the bouquet toss which had everyone's attention. We were mortified. 70% of our guests at the ceremony think that we didn't have any music playing. We paid an extremely talented guitarist that nobody got the pleasure of hearing. Nate tells me that falls on the guitarist, but he also stated that Dakota did the sound check for him and the reason that the music was nonexistent is because the crowd absorbed the sounds....(at an outdoor ceremony??) Dakota was COMPLETELY DISASSOCIATED with the crowd and was a HUGE disappointment. The owner Nate apologized; him and Dakota "feel terrible" and he offered to take us to dinner. HE SAID NO TO A REFUND. I have never been so humiliated by a company in all of my life. Everyone talked during the speeches and nobody could hear anything. One of my guests approached me and said they went to the DJ and told them they couldn't hear out of the speaker because its echoing. The DJ responded with "that's just the way it is and I can't do anything about it". We had two meetings prior to the wedding. They were late to both. Small detail but it all adds up to literally nothing going right. There are a lot of great reviews and I know everyone is human. I understand that disasters happen. What I do not understand is how this situation is handled. They sell themselves on "we are much more than just a DJ, we also coordinate and make sure everything goes smoothly". They couldn't even fulfill their contract which reads "The DJ hereby agrees to skillfully and faithfully render his or her professional services and is AT ALL TIMES TO HAVE COMPLETE CONTROL OF HIS OF HER PROGRAM ". Pretty positive that contract was breached when one of my guests took the DJ's role and played her downloaded music.

Our family portraits were on the beach. She called the day before our appointment to ask if we had any questions, give us any advice on how to dress, and asked questions to get to know our family dynamic for the session. She was early on the day of our appointment to set up and make sure the lighting on the beach would be perfect for the shoot. Upon meeting her, she made us all feel comfortable immediately. She is so much fun! The entire session was full of smiles and laughter, and she really captured exactly what I was looking for. A few days after the session, she takes the time to set a viewing appointment and goes step by step reviewing all the photos with you to make the best choices, and her prices are very reasonable. My husband and I preferred to go with their suggestions since they were what we were looking for. They were great to work with and they were quick to respond whenever I had questions or needed help with something. They also provided a lot of guidance about some of the wedding day logistics that I wouldn't have thought of. They helped with arranging the furniture in the house I was getting married in and were there before and during the ceremony and at the reception to help. The wedding and reception turned out beautifully, in large part due to them.
