David, the tech, was very knowledgeable about a lot of things. Including that the city had to be called out to shut off the water valve at the street since it was rusted closed. Thankfully that didn't add to the price at all. I'm not really familiar with how plumbing is supposed to work today, but I certainly am not a fan of everyone charging a fee just to show up and look at your problem to give you a price. I think that practice is BS. But it seems like everyone is doing that now. Would I use them again? Sure. They got the job done quickly.

He referred us to a fantastic plumber (Eddy Ks Plumbing and Heating) that fixes leaks under slabs and he did a phenomenal job. We still wanted to replace the water heater so Joe was patient while all the excavation, repair, and restoration work was done. Joe did a great job replacing our water heater and even built a new stand/table for it. We were billed what we were quoted and he showed up on time and was very professional. Johnathan was more than eager to check it out. He arrived quickly and checked out what he could, including crawling in a flooded crawlspace to find the problem. When he emerged, he offered several plans of action. I was hesitant, as there were a lack of reviews for J&J, as well as not as much experience compared to some other companies. I also had no other estimates to go by. Not knowing what to expect, I found his estimate to be very fair. What impressed me though was his enthusiasm, confidence and dedication. I asked him if he was sure it could be done, and he replied, "It has to". I agreed to have him start the next day but was still wary. He called early the next day and said they were on the way, arriving earlier than expected. He and his partner then labored very hard for over 8 hours (removing concrete, and many buckets of dirt) digging a very deep hole in a very confined space. To be honest when they left, I was worn out, and all I did was mostly watch. Their stamina was amazing. My plumbing was convoluted, but they never got discouraged and everything was "We're getting closer". When the leak was found they expertly repaired it. Then they refilled the hole and cleaned up. The whole time J&J was diligent, friendly, extremely hard working, professional and focused. Because of how many issues they faced, and the labor involved, he charged me the high end of his estimate. I saw what they went through, and even at the high end of their estimate, I feel I ripped them off. I can't remember being so impressed by any other company in a long time, and they have earned my respect and commitment for all future plumbing needs. If you're researching J&J and question the lack of reviews, you have my word that these guys are top notch, and well worth the effort to talk with them. This was a review for the first part of repair. J&J will be back in a few days to replace the floor and reinstall the appliances that were moved. This included replacing a 40 gallon water heater, repairing the inlet hose on the washer. and membership fee of checking the furnace and AC unit for a year. Jonah came to do the repairs on the day and times that he was expected. He was very professional and kind. He spent 6 1/2 hours on the repairs. He cleaned up and explained all of the fees. Overall, I'm very pleased with his service. Normally, I would five stars, but I think the price was a bit too much money.

Cody and Dylan were the two service techs that replaced the units and were great to work with. The first day they arrived they were very thorough in explaining the process and what to expect over the coming days. The unit was installed improperly from the start. The unit was installed early September and five…read moremonths later the issues have finally been solved. (Fingers crossed). First, there was no permit pulled for the inspection of the the final installation and still has not been. The heat failed to work proper first because the gas had not been turned on to the unit. Knew the unit had some type of oil build up that needed to be burned off, which ended up smoking throughout the house. The electrician harness kept shorten out and needed to be replaced. Then the circuit board needed to be replaced. The gasline and P-trap was not properly installed the first time and had to be re-done. Overall my experience with this company was been subpar. Still waiting for that inspection! Avoid like the plague!

I got a response from about 5 HVAC companies with three with estimates for their service. I chose them for being the first to response with a reasonable estimate and I called to set up an appointment that will work around my work schedule. They were able to work with me to provide a good date to come out and do their service. The day of the appointment, the tech called me that he was on his way within the appointed time. He did show up early and he did his HVAC service in a reasonable amount of time, about 15 to 20 minutes. He told us what he did and I paid exactly what I was quoted in the estimate, plus tax of course. I passed on to him to add me to their 6 month preventative maintenance schedule to do our AC service in the Spring. Overall a great experience with this company as the tech was friendly but professional.
