Our goal was to give our kids access to great tutors to increase their chances of receiving merit…read morescholarships. Both of our kids were tutored by different instructors at Moser and both had a GREAT experience. Scott asked a lot of questions about each student to understand their disposition, the way they learn, how much pushing they needed to study, etc. They were matched with very different instructors and both were patient, respectful, and clear in their teaching. Going into the college prep season with our older student, we were all a bunch of nerves. However, during the tutoring process, we collectively relaxed because our son became confident in his abilities to take the tests effectively. Both of our kids' scores were impressive, much higher than before the tutoring. As it turned out, they both did receive merit scholarships at their desired universities. Even if they had not, I think the confidence it gave each of them was well worth the price.

My son improved his score 200 points from his PSAT. He went from a 1280 to a 1480. We are absolutely thrilled. Zack did a terrific job with my son, he was patient with just the right amount of pushing my teenage boy. We will definitely use Moser again for our second son.

I genuinely couldn't be more thankful for Manhattan Prep, specifically for Noah Teitelbaum. Taking…read morethe online class with Noah as my tutor made 8 months of non-stop studying, countless "I cant's, because I have to study tomorrow," and more anxiety than I've ever had in my life, worth it. I came into Manhattan Prep after privately tutoring for 3 months and a 560 on my first real GMAT. Prior to the class, I knew quiet a bit of the fundamentals of the test. This lead me to being skeptical of how the class would help me, come day one of it. After the first class, Noah "virtually" pulled me aside and told me to be patient and that I would learn everything I needed to know to succeed on the test. Week after week I found myself absorbing more information and tricks of the trade than I ever could have imagined while I was tutoring privately (not a Manhattan Prep Tutor). The class breaks down the GMAT into its finest details and gives students the proper tools to succeed on the exam. The Interact Lessons, for me, were a saving grace. Anytime I wanted to review a specific section without waiting until the next class, I would go through each interact lesson feeling like I was in a one on one session with a Manhattan Prep tutor. Everything became very clear and concise. Unfortunately for me, as much as I was absorbing, I was stressing myself out more than ever. I would do small problem sets, getting questions right, but when it came down to taking a full CAT my scores were not improving - they were actually getting worse. At this point, I was studying 6 hours everyday, taking a CAT every week, and going absolutely insane. The GMAT itself produced an anxiety in me that I had never experienced before. Not only did Noah help me with learning and understanding the exam, but also he helped me manage my stress and gave me plenty of outlets to help me cope with my anxieties. I told him after my second GMAT that I would try anything to help me succeed, and he gave me as many options as he possibly could think of. For some, the GMAT can be a walk in the park; for others, like me, the GMAT can be one of the worst experiences that can stand in the way of you and your dream of attending business school. Noah, along with Manhattan Prep, never gave up on me. Four GMATS later I walk away with a 660 total score: 100 points increase!

Our daughter is attending Accelerated Schools. She has had the most WONDERFUL experience there as…read morehave we as her parents. This is the first positive school experience she has ever had. She is accelerating in every way and she has friends so many friends there! It is the most accepting environment. The entire staff has such a passion for what they do and sincerely want to help your child achieve their goals (whatever they may be). They meet your child where they are socially, academically, etc. Our daughter is neurodivergent and the entire staff is absolutely excellent at meeting the needs of neurodivergent children our opinion. They are ALL so warm, friendly and patient. Each and every staff member. They are also incredible at accommodating academically for each and every child's needs whether they are above grade level or below grade level. Some kids are above grade level in certain subjects and below in others. They recognize that and meet each and every child's individual needs per subject. They take the time to get to know each child and what they need extensively in every way. Our child's needs are accommodated for daily, she is accepted just as she is and is encouraged each and every day. It is such an accepting environment and provides the structure that she needs to excel. She is encouraged to become the best version of herself every single day, loves school and even wants to go on the weekends sometimes. We are overjoyed! Also, the school regularly provides many off-campus field trips as well which we feel is so important to practice social skills outside of the home and school setting. We have seen such a difference in our daughter due to these experiences. I don't know what more you could want for your child! We moved here from out of state for better services for her and we are so glad that we chose Accelerated Schools for her. The teachers are incredible. They sincerely care about each individual child very much. It is very apparent. The school is small enough that they are able to be provide the attention needed to each child which we feel is so important. I a former public school teacher and have taught in three different schools, three different grade levels and in two states. My degree is in Early Childhood Education. I have taught second, third and fifth grades. Needless to say, I am difficult to impress when it comes to education. Also, they encourage arts, music, cooking and other interests your child may have. They recently added "wheels" which has been wonderful for our daughter as they ride bikes, skateboards, etc. so they are getting exercise while spending time outdoors. They spend quite a bit of time outdoors when weather permits and have plenty of room to run around and a playground. It's just a wonderful, beautiful setting both inside and out. Also, the historic buildings are beautiful. The school also has recently had many areas organized by a professional organizer, and they are in the process of adding a beautiful new sensory room! It should be finished soon. If you are looking for an alternative for your child, please consider Accelerated Schools. The warm, friendly staff would be happy to speak with you and give you a tour to share more. We LOVE Accelerated Schools and feel so fortunate to have found it!

Our kiddo is engaged, progressing, and happy to be learning, which is a nice change from the past…read morefew years. This is an absolute incredible school and I am grateful we found it! I was not sure a school existed that was a good mix of a small class size and homeschool feel (meeting the child where they are at educationally) as well as challenging them to excel to grade level and beyond. Before coming to Accelerated Schools, we experienced ongoing concerns for the long-term educational needs of our child in a traditional public school classroom. We no longer have that concern. We considered switching to Accelerated Schools last spring when our child needed a change in their educational trajectory. The public school program they previously attended was no longer a good fit and we needed to support our child's neurodiversity as well as cognitive educational needs differently than a traditional public school classroom is capable of. We decided to begin at Accelerated Schools this fall and are thrilled with the environment and the support of the staff, who meet students up front, welcomes them by name, and genuinely care about the student as an individual. I hope this helps others who are seeking an amazing school for their child with differing needs. The environment also provides support for emotional and cognitive difficulties across age ranges of students. I have repeatedly experienced students being supported at varying levels of needs to be able to re-engage the child and continue their educational journey. The teachers go above and beyond to be support the kids and meet the child where they are every single day. I am most impressed by the patience of each teacher, no matter the difficulty a student is having each day. Thanks to the team of educators and professionals who are helping our amazing kids learn and supporting them to thrive to their greatest potential!
