First of all, I need to express the professionalism that Bruce and the crew showed us today.They did excellent work and were pleasant the entire time which was amazing since it was over 90 degrees. Not only did they trim all the trees in the proposal, they trimmed other trees and bushes as well with no extra cost. Bruce was on the site the entire time and did a lot of trimming as well. Bruce seems very knowledgeable and extremely patient. He constantly asked if were satisfied and responded to our requests. We had had a large Aleppo Pine tree in our yard, which had caused some concern since we first moved in as it was healthy and continued to grow toward our neighbor's yard. We finally had it removed last month which involved a crew of about nine experienced men, and a crane (and crane driver). The entire job took two days. It was a sight to behold and the job was done. We were pleased with the service Top Notch provided, and even more pleased to find that Bruce operates his business with integrity and care for his clients' property. We have used Top Notch twice. The first time was fine. They did our annual tree trimming. The work was good, although we had to keep postponing the date because their truck broke down. We then hired them in August to trim vines that were growing on our house. The work wasn't good. They left the house looking a mess and our HOA is after us to clean it up. We tried calling Bruce, the owner, to ask him to come by and look and we even sent him a picture. Although we left many messages, he never responded. We are now going to have to pay another company to clean up the mess this company left on our house. I don't recommend the company. read more

They came on time with a crew of 5 and a chipper, and worked efficiently. There was a small communication problem which caused a misunderstanding about what we wanted, but when we discussed the problem, the workers were very understanding and corrected the problem even though it created some extra work for them. Finding the right service to trim a tree is tricky. I received multiple quotes from referrals, but never a price as low as these guys. But price isn't the most important factor. They need to know what they're doing. Not only was I very happy with their price, but these guys really are "Top Notch" at what they do. I was referred to them by a neighbor. A very picky neighbor, who has the most beautiful landscaping in the area. After trimming my giant front yard tree, I asked them to trim 5 other trees on my property. All turned out great. They were trimmed properly, they cleaned more than just their own mess, and were very polite. I very strongly recommend Top Notch Tree Care, and will most definitely be using their services again. I have an overgrown fig tree right in front of my townhouse that needed to be chopped down. I called for an estimate & Bruce came out free of charge & gave me a price that was way below other tree cutting companies. We scheduled for a week later, Bruce showed up early, cut down the fig tree with ease, chopped the stump, and cleared the debris. After spending over $500.00 dollars and an additional $120.00 in premature tips to the crew, I found myself spending 2 1/2 hours with my electric trimmer yesterday trying to clean up six Italian cypress and trying to make them look good again. Really sloppy work, Could have been cleaned up better, It was a real Hack Job. I phoned and left a text message , and an e-mail to the company, with absolutely no reply. On the positive side if there is one , is that they did come out promptly to take my money. There were six guys on the crew, you would think that they would take some pride in the work they do.
