i've been here once and it was awful but so many people love this place i decided to try again. I called to make an appointment and was told they only do walk ins so i came in and said i wanted a fill and they completely ignored me so i sat down and waited. in that time someone came in stating they had an appointment, they got right to it (irked me only bc they told me they don't do appointments). another person came in stating they also wanted a fill yet they immediately had them pick out a color and got to them. multiple times someone asked me what i wanted and when i said just a fill they said okay and walked away. waited so long for no one to help me they attended to multiple people who walked in after me. not gonna attempt for a 3rd try. read more

They got me in right away but the man doing my nails kept answering phone calls and talking. My nails are not evenly coated because when he open their the nail polish is was gone but instead of go and getting another one he just used up the dried nail polish. I also asked for a matte finish which he didn't do until the end and he got frustrated that he finished before asking me and had to go back and put it on. My nails are spotty, not well rounded, and just not good. I chose a dark color I shouldn't be able to see through it... wouldn't recommend read more

My daughter went in on Monday September 24,2018 to get her nails done for homecoming. She asked for short and rounded and was given long and pointed. When she asked to get a refund or fixed, they told her that she showed them the pointed ones. When she asked to speak to the manager or owner she was told they were to busy, as they sat and watched the whole thing. They then decided they would fix the nails, only they didn't fix them, they were the exact same only a little shorter. She had to go to Osky and pay for someone else to fix her nails. Would not recommend going here and will never go back... read more

Top Nails - Horrible looking nails, no where close to short and rounded as my daughter asked for - Nail Salons Near Me - Ottumwa, Iowa

I came in with a friend, and there where a lot of people available to work, they took my friend back right away but I waited for twenty minutes. I understand the wait but it gets worse...he didn't give me a choice in what shape my nails were, and didn't listen when I said I wanted them round. He messed up the shape, and when he put on the polish it was SO uneven and patchy. My nails look like TRASH!! read more

I'm from out of town (Tucson, AZ) and came to Bloomfield to visit my boyfriend's family and for a wedding. I badly needed a mani and pedi for the wedding. I wasn't sure which salon to choose, since I'm not from here and there weren't many places with any yelp reviews. I'm so glad I chose this nail salon. They were able to put me in and did an awesome job. The staff was very pleasant. They have nice massage chairs. They also provide dip powder for the mani which was a plus. The drive from Bloomfield was worth it. read more

My fiancée called and scheduled an appointment for the bridal party of 6 and when we showed up, they said "what appointment?" We were then seated in the waiting chairs while several other customers were seen before us, we'll beyond our appointment time. They finally moved us to the massaging chairs, and sat us there for 20 minutes before they turned on the water for only 2 of us. Another 20 minutes go by and the water gets cold. Now we're over an hour past our "appointment" time and still haven't been seen. My brother and I walked out because we refuse to support such terrible business practices. It took some of the bridesmaids 3 more hours before they were done with their mani-pedis. read more

I used to go to Top nails all the time years ago as they got busier and busier they started to get rude to the customers. Wait times were horrendous and I decided to go elsewhere. Just recently I started going back and scheduling with one specific person. The staff there is still a rude and even with an appointment you were still made to wait 45 minutes to an hour. Today I went in for my appointment at 4:30 and was told as soon as I walked through the door that I couldn't get my nails done as the gal I was scheduled with went home sick. No phone call to tell me otherwise scheduled my day around this nail appointment and then was treated poorly when I walked through the door. That is the last time I will ever get my nails done at Top Nails. read more

If I could give zero I would. Very lousy customer service. I had to go back after I left because I noticed cotton stuck in my fell manicure. Shame on them. read more

Asked for coffin nails gave me regular they were messy, lumpy and disgusting. When at the counter to pay I told him what was wrong with them and he told em he would fix them after I paid. I told him do my nails before because if I pay now and don't like them that's ojldnt make sense. He proceeded to tell me to pay before. I picked a whole new nail color and when done, they looked exactly like the nails before. Lumpy, unpainted on half of my nails, and rushed. I will never be going to Top Nails ever again. read more
