Osky Nails by far has done the best, most thorough job when I get manicures and dip nails! They never chip or peel and my real nails are so long and healthy, they never even break anymore. They're very easy to talk to and such a pleasure to rebook with, just send a Facebook message for a appointment 24 hours in advance on a Tues, Weds or Thurs and there's no wait when you arrive for your service! I went here on a Saturday (tried to get an appointment but they don't allow appointments Friday-Sunday) I waited about an hour because it was busy. There was a little girl running around but she was so sweet!! She talked to all of the customers waiting for their turn and got drinks for us upon request. I had gotten my nails done about a week prior from a different nail salon and hated them so I wanted to get a completely new full set. The person that helped me was very considerate with how hot the tools made my nails and also cracked a ton of jokes about how poorly my previous nails were done. If I could give zero stars I would. Please don't waste your time going there. They do not take appointments, it's supposed to be 1st come 1st serve...they don't write your name down, so if someone else comes in, they take them instead of you. I saw it twice while waiting for my turn and while getting my nails done. The man there is the only one who can do a gel fill in. The other two ladies can do gel polish only. Working there is the man, his wife and another lady who appeared to be one of their mothers. They had their 2 year old daughter there as well. In the corner was a playpen and toys. After every service that the man did, he would go outside to smoke, even with customers waiting for their service. He would sometimes go out for a smoke in the middle of doing nails! Each time he stepped outside, the little girl ran through the salon screaming and crying for him. After all three employees took turns trying to comfort the little girl and get her to sleep, all while customers are waiting and/or sitting getting their nails done, the baby finally went to sleep. Before my gel fill was done, the baby woke up screaming and crying again, only to have the employees take turns trying to get her back to sleep. The employees were yelling and obviously stressed to the hilt, but continued with the baby like there were no customers there. It was a very odd experience for a business. Several people walked in and immediately left when they experienced how the salon was being ran. I wish I would have. I will never go there again. Not to mention my credit card was charged more than my service. read more
