Although the staff is pleasant, the food is just "meh". Went for the well advertised fish fry. It was a piece of previously frozen (Sysco 10/12 frozen haddock). They even call it 10/12 on their menus. Food was great. We arrived 11:30 am and they were serving both lunch and breakfast. In just this moment I had the best breakfast I have ever had but I was very hungry. My wife got lunch and considered it excellent. It was a little busy but I can wait a few minutes for someone to come over and take our order. After 3 days of eating seafood and driving to restaurants I just wanted to relax and eat a great bacon cheeseburger . Well that's exactly what I got. We are staying across the road. All I had to do was cross the road. They do also have great fish everyday. Their breakfasts are good. But I'm telling you I loved my bacon cheeseburger and onions rings. We walked to this cafe for breakfast from our hotel. It was a short walk, nice and quiet. The outdoor dining is pretty inviting. They open for breakfast and dinner. They even have couches to relax, possibly for night time. I ordered Huevos Rancheros with two Sunnyside eggs and Hubby ordered two over-easy eggs, ham and potatoes. It's a portion controlled restaurant, less carbs and enough for me. Hubby thought a slice of bread for him wasn't enough haha. Anyway, we thought it's not bad for breakfast. My breakfast was pretty good but the salsa was so so. The eggs, potatoes and beans were fresh. We didn't get to try their dinner menu although we talked about going back for dinner. We have eaten here frequently and always had a nice experience. But we recently had the chance to take advantage of a catered party. And they absolutely delivered! Tony and his crew worked tirelessly to make sure we had everything our party of 50 needed. The food was on point, drinks were tasty, and we really felt cared for. Due to weather concerns they had to move us inside and just rolled with it, keeping everyone happy and bellies full. Mixed reviews here. The cinnamon roll is god awful and tastes like it's been warmed 5 times. It's incredibly tough and dry. Service is not great. They told us we could put our 7 month old and 2 year old in a booth because it's safer and when we asked to use highchairs, said we could only use them if we sat on each side of the kid. First of all we have dined here a few times and while staying at the attached resort (fantastic by the way) we occasionally order takeout to bring back to our room, the quality of the food is great. The service,staff and ambiance is outstanding. Sandwiches are very good of average size and they have a nice variety with prices comparable to pizza/sub shops in the area. Dinners, very disappointing,they have small,small entree portions did I mention small entree portions? I just did and will again. These small entree portions are supplemented by side dishes that are a normal portion. Unfortunately the prices for dinners are a little higher than other restaurants in the area but they probably do a great business with the people staying at the resort so they don't need to rely on low prices to attract customers. Overall We think it's a great place for sandwiches,but if your hungry for dinner,you have a choice to make. read more

We were staying in the East End of Provincetown and it was much easier to drive here for breakfast rather than heading into P'town and having to deal with the whole lack of parking situation. Here there is plenty of free parking and it's not too busy. Naturally we had to have the lobster omelette for breakfast, which was great except that they put cheese in it without asking (and it's not mentioned on the menu - what is it with this unhealthy cheese fixation, America?). I managed to scrape most of it out though, so it didn't detract from my enjoyment of it much. When we came back for a second try a few days later, the server remembered me so I almost didn't have to ask them to omit the cheese. Great service and very friendly, and there are some interesting pieces of artwork for sale dotted around the place. Definitely worth a stop for your breakfast. read more

Sadly, I am not a fan! We came for breakfast a few days ago and our breakfast was $37 for 2 cups of coffee, veggie omelette with one small soggy piece of raisin bread and a 2 egg breakfast with toast. The potato's ( home fries) were actually cold and hard- how is that even possible? My husband who is not picky and loves home fries would not even eat them! This was the worst breakfast we have ever had on the Cape! Breakfast at McDonald's would have been better! By the way, I am a chef, you think you can make your home fries days ahead and serve to people but it really doesn't work. Make them fresh, they literally take only minutes to prepare and are amazing when fresh. Potatoes that are cold and old are horrible, don't serve them! read more

Wanted to get out of the Ptown hype so on our way home we stopped here for Breakfast. The patio is Gorgeous and the beach is literally steps away. Cafe did an excellent job with Covid prep as the patio was well distanced and the inside had plexiglass dividers ready for when inside reopened. Service: It was a Tuesday morning and they were clearly still understaffed. A high school girl with limited experience waiting tables was with the manager doing 6-8 tables and she did a really good job. As a former server I know how tough food service can be especially the people (be clear about what you want and don't drag your serve back and forth ). She was personable and did a fantastic job as the only server on the floor. Food: Really good quality. I'd say though portions definitely don't meet the price. They'd have way more business if they operated like a diner style. Ptown area needs it so bad since breakfast is overpriced downtown. Coffee was good and their menu is well diversified. One of the highlights from my first summer stays in the North Truro/Provincetown area. I highly recommend, especially for anyone who wants friendly service, great food, a tranquil ambience, and a break from all the Provincetown hustle and fuss! Service: it was a masterclass in customer service; Tony, the manager (and part owner?), was straightforward, friendly and professional; the international staff that provided us service during our visits was beyond excellent. They were warm, approachable, attentive, and an exemplar of what great customer service looks like - a standout among the group was Marco!!! Food: delicious, filling, and worth every bite. The warm homemade cinnamon roll was the gateway to other mouth washing dishes like the chocolate chip pancakes w/ real maple syrup, the velvety egg yolk that ran over the egg Benedicts, and the simple perfection of the none oily yet crispy bacon strips, just to name a few. Ambience: relaxed, tranquil, and a peaceful treat away from the P-Town crowd. Ample parking, fast seating with the option of in or outdoor patio dining under shaded cobalt blue umbrellas. The koi fish fountain pool was a sweet addition to this hidden gem. Marco was so kind to even provide fish pellets so that you can properly feed those slippery colorful denizens of the zen pond. The inside was a bit stuffy and hot so we opted to sit on the gorgeous patio, which has fountains, greenery and nice landscaping, all contributing to a great ambiance. Lobster abounded on the menu, but I chose the breakfast platter which included eggs, potatoes, my choice of meat (sausage links - were just ok) and the option to add on one huge, chocolate chip pancake for a small upcharge. Omg everything was DELICIOUS, especially the pancake, and I could have easily split the meal with someone since there was so much food on that plate. The potatoes looked like they came out of a can and were drenched in oil and grease. Service was virtually non-existent, and we were the only customers at the time. Don't be seduced by the website's slick photos of dishes staged by a professional food stylist, with backdrops of driftwood and elegant linens and serving pieces. The actual meals look nothing like them. I had the huevos rancheros - which should be renamed huevos Cumberland Farms - it consisted of two over easy eggs atop a corn tortilla, topped with grated Sargento cheddar, with a paltry spoonful of bland, dried out black beans garnished with dried out scallions, and tiny ramekin of jarred salsa (Pace brand?) and sour cream on the side. Contrast this with the website's photo of lovingly garnished huevos with avocado, cilantro and fresh salsa atop a generous mound of beans. Nevertheless, the eggs were properly cooked - yolks nice and runny. Husband had eggs benedict - real hollandaise, but English muffins underdone and soggy. Stick with basic eggs, toast and breakfast meat and you probably won't be disappointed. Friendly, efficient service. Decent coffee. Part of a "resort." Recommend completely! We came more than once during our trip. Wife had a Cape Cod Sampler. Had a bit of everything: haddock, fries, clam chowder (sooo good) and half a lobster roll. My omelet was good. Cinnamon pastry was alright. My wife's banana pancakes were just okay. The reason for only 3 stars. It took them a while to acknowledge us and seat us and they weren't busy. What I REALLY DID NOT LIKE was the waiter never came to check on us and never asked if we wanted more coffee or water and AUTOMATICALLY took a 22% Tip! He definitely did not earn it!
