Estate Tree Service is unique in that all of the workers wear safety helmets that are connected with communication from the supervisor and co owner, Patrick Sumner, who is a firefighter with EMS training. The particular tree they removed was a large ash tree that had lost a sizeable limb in a recent wind storm, that fortunately fell away from the house. The main part of the tree was leaning over our deck and roof and presented a constant danger. Patrick monitored the tree climber, Jose, and stayed in contact with him throughout the tree removal. Their charges were reasonable, and they did an excellent cleanup upon completion. They were horrible. They will not do what they are paid to…read moredo. They started job on June 27 and finally on July 16 they said the job was done. As you can see the tree is still standing and they left the largest part of the tree. 26x33 wise and 33 tall. They promised to cut the tree down to the ground and grind the stump. They agreed to take all wood with them. They took a huge load of wood to the back of my property and dumped it on a pile. I had to text and call them 3 times to get it out of the pile. Terrible service. Terrible customer service. When I questioned him (Terry Walsinger) he actually asked me if I was on drugs. Horrible experience. I highly recommend you pass when they bring their card to your door!!

Very happy with the service I just received from Urban Lumberjack! I tried a few other companies…read morethat popped up first in my Google search for firewood and my calls either went to voicemail or I was told that they were too busy to sell me firewood. Luckily, I found this company on Yelp! Not only did someone answer and was very helpful in my first-ever firewood purchasing experience, but they delivered the firewood the same day! Isaac showed up with a truck full of beautiful, seasoned hardwood and carefully hauled it to the exact place in the yard I wanted it stacked. And then he stacked it in this Jenga fashion to ensure that the air could still circulate around it (the palate was mine). He was very careful around my plants and answered every question I had. And he even brought me a free bag of kindling! I am super impressed by the wonderful customer service I just received and can't wait to have some great bonfires in the backyard. I will definitely call them again once we start to run low!
