I called Kentucky Tree Service yesterday evening to request they come out and take down a tree on my backyard tree line that had cracked and was hanging over my neighbor's yard. Kevin came out that evening to ensure it was safe enough to leave overnight and came back the next day to provide the service requested. Kevin is very personable and aims to please. He and his crew were efficient and safely took down the tree along with other limbs in the tree line deemed to be potential hazards. They worked swiftly and in coordination to get the job done in a timely manner while taking the time to ensure no damage to the fence and the outbuilding close by. It was amazing to watch them work! They also cleaned up every last leaf from my yard and the area in front of my house where the tree chipper was parked. The cost was what you would expect for the service provided and well worth every penny! I confidently recommend Kentucky Tree Service!! read more

Kentucky Tree Service of Lexington, owned by Mercer County native Kevin Burdine, removed one huge oak from our yard, and another smaller oak, and two poplars, for $5,000. The owner's son Kolby Burdine and two assistants completed the work well and cleaned up afterward in about 10 hours. Kolby said he would return in abut two and a half weeks to grind up one stump for an additional $500, and we are sure he will. These are good people who are properly insured and do dangerous work. I recommend them highly, John Duncan, (859) 333-8596, jlivduncan@aol.com. read more

Mr. Burdine and his crew were absolutely awesome. We lost half of a tree last week-the other half was going to cost us power lines and our fence as soon as we had our next storm. He came over-gave a quote that was great. The team was there the next morning as it it needed to be done sooner rather than later. He and his team were looking out for our family! They took down our tree, safely-didn't leave a leaf in the yard. Incredible work ethic, great people, highly recommend! read more

After the most recent storms, we found ourselves without electric, a damaged roof and deck, and a tree, that caused all three. Kentucky Tree Service came out and removed the tree as an emergency, in our time of real need, even though we were new customers. They were very efficient and friendly. Everything was cleaned up to our satisfaction. The work was done for the estimated, agreed upon amount. We will certainly have them back to our home this fall for more work. read more

had a great experience with Kevin and his crew! had a large branch fall on my mother's house after the storm over memorial day weekend and had a hard time getting anybody to pick up their phone to help us. Kevin answered and showed up promptly. they got the job done well and cleaned the area up before packing up and leaving. we were so impressed! We will be calling Kevin and his team back to remove more trees so we don't have this situation happen again in future storms! read more

Kevin and his team worked tirelessly to take down our large silver maple tree. They all worked together to take the tree down while protecting the power lines and other existing trees from damage. They did a great job grinding the stump and got all debris and sawdust cleaned up perfectly. There price was very competitive with other services that quoted the job and I would recommend them for future tree services you may need. Well done! read more

I have used Kevin for my tree services for years now. He is responsive, pleasant, and does good work. His knowledge of trees is really something and he is always on the lookout for trees that might become a problem in the next few years. I like having a plan to keep my very large trees under control. The men Kevin employs are always polite and respectful. I am glad to have Kentucky Tree Service on my home/farm maintenance team! read more

On Monday, we had our approximately 20 trees trimmed by this company, owner Kevin Burdine, and were very happy with the results. The trees even looked like they felt better! The owner and his crew were very professional, friendly, and cleaned up the trimmed limbs. We can definitely recommend this company - and they do other landscaping and cleaning of gutters if that's needed. Very reasonable, too. Diana read more

This is the second time we have used the services of this company. Mr. Burdine called back the same day to set up an estimate date. We were given a very reasonable estimate on Sunday, and the job was complete that Tuesday. The crew was very professional and efficient. They cleaned everything up from the job, and hauled it away. We were very pleased, and will definitely use their services again in the future. read more

Very happy with Kentucky Tree Service. This is the third tree cutting company we've worked with in Lexington and these guys are by far the best. Kevin quoted a fair price and then delivered exactly what he said he would deliver. Worked on the weekend to get the job done in a timely manner. Yard was cleaned up and spotless after completion. Great experience....highly recommend these guys. read more

I would like to thank Kevin Burdine and his crew, who are with Kentucky Tree Service, for another tree cutting job well done. This is at least the 3rd time I've hired him and he just recently cut a tree down between my neighbor and I. He, and his crew, always do a professional job. They also do an excellent job of cleaning up. I would recommend Kevin for your tree cutting needs. Keith R. read more

Kevin Burdine and son Kolby have done tree removal jobs for me twice, and both times I was extremely impressed with their price and their work. They recently removed a large dead Ash tree that was in a precarious place on my property. I found them honest, fast, unobtrusive, thorough. I will call Kevin first for any future jobs ! read more

Initially, I gave this company a good review, but I should have waited. I paid before I got an invoice or receipt. I have asked for a receipt for my records more than once, and I have not gotten a response. I must take responsibility for not getting invoice before paying. Be careful. read more
