The company is simply cheating. I called the company when I needed a tree cut after an ice storm…read morethis year. They agree to help. However, they never showed up. A week later, one person called (probably his name is Steve, but I might be mistaken) asking where I still needed help. I said no. The people who cut the tree were supposed to remove the cut branches. I was surprised when I received a phone call from the company a month ago asking me to pay for the services. I never saw anybody from the company. I do not know who removed the branches, the city, the people who cut the tree, or the company. I specifically said that I do not require their services. Yet, I finally received an invoice for $321.00. I have nothing good to say about Lexington Tree Service except they are fraudulent liars. I will pay the bill but advise everybody to avoid the company.

The foreman came to my door to offer to sell me some wrought iron similar to some I own. He commenced showing me his antique items. He did not supervise clean-up. As they left, my husband said they needed to clean up the trimmings. They did pick up some but threw the limbs and sticks in my compost. They did not clean up on my neighbor's side. My husband spent 1.5 hr. cleaning up and emptying the debris in the compost. We called to speak to Mr. Stinnett but he was unavailable. We requested that he call back. He didn't. We called a week later. Same thing. and again, a week later. Same thing. We called today and he was "unavailable" but when my husband noted that he seemed to be permanently unavailable, he took the call. He apologized for the poor service and said we could get a big discount if we used them again. Why would we use them again?

From the beginning, they were communicative and thoughtful in their planning. Robert walked through the approach with me ahead of time and clearly understood the importance of protecting the surrounding property. Plus, he showed extensive knowledge and offered helpful insights. One thing I've come to really appreciate is when people plan timing with you on projects. We set the target date for the job and only had a caveat for potential adverse weather (late February). They confirmed the day and time and touched base the day before to make sure we were good for timing. Then they arrived at the time they set. I have found this to be one of the most rare qualities and it is invaluable. The execution itself was exceptional. Robert and Jason brought the tree down so elegantly, had I not been aware of the work, I might not have realized it was happening. It was an impressive display of control and experience, especially given the size of the tree. They were also very mindful of the property. They came fully prepared to prevent equipment from marking up the lawn, and the cleanup was beyond thorough.
