She motivated my boy very well and developed an excellent rapport with him. The tutoring was tailored to suit his individual needs and was at a very suitable pace for him. Homework that was set added to the overall effectiveness. His practice test ACT scores steadily improved as time went on. I am sure that his final score was much better than it would have been without the tutoring. The college preparation went extremely well, from help in identifying suitable colleges to the actual application process. She gave outstanding advice in crafting a great set of college essays, while being scrupulous in ensuring it was his voice that shone through. There were a lot of essays and ensuring we kept on the timetable was a very important part of the job, as was the advice on structuring and editing.
