That says everything about the kind of business they run. In the reefing hobby, healthy livestock, honest advice, and experience are worth far more than flashy displays, and this store delivers on all three. Their fish and coral selection is outstanding, the livestock is healthy and well cared for, and they never push unnecessary products just to make a sale. If something isn't ready, they'll tell you. If they think there's a better way to do something, they'll explain why. That level of integrity is becoming rare. As someone who is still learning the reefing side of the hobby, I've asked more questions than I can count, and they've always taken the time to educate me instead of rushing me out the door. Yesterday I visited again because I really like goldfish, but there were not as many as before. I'm not sure if they were sold out or if they just did not have many in stock. I was a little disappointed because I drove a long distance to come here. The service was very good. One young female staff member took great care of us and spoke very kindly. Even though the weather was very hot, she still helped us for quite a long time with a good attitude. The prices have increased compared to before. A few years ago, I bought fish for around $15-20, but now similar fish cost around $40-45. However, compared to general pet stores, the prices are still much cheaper. One more nice thing is that they also have many kinds of aquatic plants available.

One thing to note, the GPS instructions takes you to his mailbox that is next to some railroad tracks. Common for folks to get lost. The fish farm is about 2-300 yards further down the road. Once you get there, it's a small parking lot....gravel. Pro tip: park backwards so you can get out easier. Also, he has plenty of live plants that should help wit your aquarium. Overall, better quality fish and plants than your chain stores. I ended up buying this colorful Koi Beta for 5$ a lobster for 10 and Java moss...all costing me about $20. Excellent deal. I will conclude that the store has all types of freshwater fish, for nano tanks to Big Koi ponds. The Guppies and Betas (even the females) are the most varied and colorful that I have seen in a fish store. Check it out at the very least, I doubt you'll be disappointed.
