We've been regular customers for years and most of the fish inhabitants in our 400-gallon reef tank came from Ocean View. Moses, Alex and the gang are great guys and they know their stuff. Their fish are conditioned, well fed and have usually done very well for us. They have a nice frag selection and usually have several colonies of LPS available for sale as well. Their selection of coral ranges from common favorites to some high-end gems. Same can be said for their fish selection. They usually have a few nice fairy wrasses, tangs, and an assortment of gobies, blennies and anthias. They also stock a great selection of frozen foods and dry goods. Overall the best aquarium store I've frequented in my 22 years in the hobby.

Like the name says, they don't mess around with anything else. Just aquatic animals because they do have more than strictly fish I got a couple guppies for my son's tank. After visiting several local fish stores, I can confidently say this one has earned my business…read more I originally purchased my 15 gallon reef aquarium from them, and even though my 53 gallon system wasn't bought there, Luis, Allen, and Anthony have gone above and beyond helping me get it properly cycled and set up for long term success. That says everything about the kind of business they run. In the reefing hobby, healthy livestock, honest advice, and experience are worth far more than flashy displays, and this store delivers on all three. Their fish and coral selection is outstanding, the livestock is healthy and well cared for, and they never push unnecessary products just to make a sale. If something isn't ready, they'll tell you. If they think there's a better way to do something, they'll explain why. That level of integrity is becoming rare. As someone who is still learning the reefing side of the hobby, I've asked more questions than I can count, and they've always taken the time to educate me instead of rushing me out the door. They have helped me avoid costly mistakes and made what can be an overwhelming hobby enjoyable. A special thank you to Luis, Allen, and Anthony. Your knowledge, patience, and customer service set the standard for what a local fish store should be. If you're serious about building a successful reef aquarium or you're just getting started, this is the shop you want in your corner. I recommend them without hesitation.
