Professional, on time, flexible when I added more people at the last minute. The food is delicious. I've found that a lot of taco caterers and even restaurants have grisly carne asada, flavourless , and dry but not Top Flight Tacos. All my guests enjoyed the tacos and sides. Highly recommended. read more

I am so impressed with Jose who cooked delicious tacos for a 55-60 person surprise birthday party at a park! Not only was the food flavorful and fresh, but Jose's professionalism was truly outstanding. Food: - We had options of pollo, al pastor, and carne asada for the tacos. I had received several compliments from guests regarding how flavorful the taco meat was. I personally really liked the al pastor and carne asada. - We also had the option of quesadillas which several people stated were good! (I used most of my stomach room for tacos lol) - Sides included salsa, beans, and rice. The salsas very delicious and went well with the tacos. The salsas were so good, they were gone within 30-45 minutes! I especially liked the guacamole based salsa and salsa verde. - Jose did a great job with the presentation of the food, sides, and salsas. Since this party was at a park, I provided a table that Jose used to set up the food. Jose was very organized in setting up the food and additional snacks/drinks that I brought. Jose's AMAZING service: - Although the food was so good, I was even more impressed by Jose's professionalism and service! Jose helped in making this party seamless! He surpassed his duties by always offering and helping me with various heavy party supplies - that did not have to do with tacos. He always took the initiative to see what we would need help with! - Jose was very timely and communicative. When he arrived, he helped me with logistics through FaceTime, while I was finishing up some errands. There were people already in the picnic tables that we were planning to set up. Jose helped with finding additional options that were not occupied already. He didn't have to do this, but Jose took the initiative which helped tremendously. - Jose was communicating with me before and throughout the event. Before the event, he even face timed me showing me the other table options while offering any help in the set up. This was all before his shift even started since he arrived early. - Jose has great capacity to anticipate our needs in advance! For example, he reorganized the food as he was cleaning up, in case guests wanted more food or in case we had to pack up leftovers. Jose is very conscientious, reliable, and articulate! I cannot emphasize this enough! So many guests raved about Jose's professionalism and delicious cooking. - I am so happy I went with Top Flight Tacos/Jennios because of Jose's outstanding service. Pricing & Booking - I first chose Top Flight Tacos/Jennios due to the very reasonable pricing. Obtaining a quote was so easy and the events coordinator always promptly replied to my emails. - Payment is preferred in cash. - Don't forget to tip!!! - Booking was very easy through email. I placed a $100 deposit when reserving the event online. This was my first time doing this, but this for sure won't be my last. I came to Top Flight Tacos/Jennios for the tacos, but will keep coming back for the 10 out of 10 service that Jose brought!! read more

So we are SoCal natives taking a staycation in Palm Springs. Top Flight Taco was a search result that advertised their services in Palm Springs/Indio for $300. We reached out to try and book them for our staycation of 8 adults and 6 kids. Again, their website provided a quote of $300. So it was quite shocking to get a response that the price was now $1200. When we responded how so and that their website quoted $300, the representative texted a message stating "All prices went up due to covid..." Really? 4X on prices? Why not update the website? Why not ensure accurate prices are quoted? Why not say inflation or something else and not just the standard-and-easy-to-use covid response? Just a little bizarre and would not trust this company if you are planning an event. If you are, get everything in writing and even go further to get a contract signed because other reviews also note an issue with reliability. read more

We recently threw a rehearsal dinner party for 60 guests in the Los Angeles area and hired Top Flight Tacos to cater the event. The owner, Alonzo, was extremely communicative from beginning to end. His chef, David, arrived right on time and hit the ground running. The presentation of the meal was terrific and the tacos, guacamole, beans, rice and condiments were out of this world. Everything was professional and delicious and, a big success! We highly recommend Top Flight Tacos. read more

The good---able to book 60 days in advance with ease. The bad---after confirming the week before, no one shows up at 11am on the day of the event. No one from their organization reached out to let me know of any issues. At 11:15 I try to contact them to find out if everything is okay. No response to phone calls or texts for 20 minutes so I send email. The ugly---finally receive email response that they can't make it 45 minutes after someone was supposed to show up and 15 minutes before guests were expecting to eat. That was 45 minutes that I could have used to order pizzas (plan b) or made other arrangements for food to feed the 40 guests that had already arrived. I was a repeat customer that was referred by someone else and had referred two other families to use them. They have lost more than my business with this failure of communication and lack of consideration for timely notification. I had a plan b in place as I understand things happen, but the company should have informed me they were having issues as they became aware of it, not wait until I contact them and then ghost me for a half hour. Thanks for that extra stress while hosting a party, ghosting me for over a half hour and for taking full responsibility 5 minutes before my guests were planning to eat, see attached email pic. Will not hire or recommend using this company ever again. read more

Chef David makes Top Flight Tacos "Tops"!! I and my guests were treated to a wonderfully prepared meal. David pulled up and showed out tastefully. His food was fresh with special spices/seasonings, use of prime meats and that garlic sauce (WOW) kept folks coming back for more. The handmade hibiscus beverage was the perfect complement to the wonderfully meal tailored especially for our family. He even made a few last minute changws for the vegans and was careful to avoid cross contamination with the sea food. Thank you for sending Chef David, Kevin. Top Flight Tacos has done it again!!! I had a last minute game night/birthday party on March 23rd and they exceeded my expectations. The owner was very nice and responsive. The taco chef (i think Miguel)...I forget his name, arrived early to set up and made sure everything was ready on time. He was very courteous and fun to have as a vendor at the party. I had the chicken and steak tacos and beans and rice. It was plenty of food for my guests. I highly recommend them. read more

Can't speak for the food because I didn't end up booking them because I felt like they were playing games with the pricing. My friend and I are planning a birthday party for 10-15 people and coincidentally both inquired this place. Their website said $300 for a party of 15 and when I called the person who picked up said that due to inflation, cost would be double (which I thought was reasonable). I jotted Top Flight Tacos as a contender for a possible vender and while discussing venders with my friend she told me that she also got a quote from Top Flight, but they quoted her $1,000. read more

Top Flight Tacos saved me this weekend! I quickly planned a last minute party for my daughter's 21st Birthday! Unlike anyone else, I got a quick response from Alonzo! I was so relieved when he told me that they can cater my party just 3 days later! Esteban "Steve" was so awesome! He was on time, promptly cooking all the delicious food and setting up a whole table of condiments, different salsas, rice, beans, grilled veggies, grilled jalapeños, and grilled onion. The horchata was also a hit! He was so friendly and personable to all my guests. He served everyone as if they were his own family/guests. I really appreciated him accommodating my late start with my guests arriving a little late, by extending his stay and serving everyone with pleasure. Esteban- thank you so much for relieving some stress from me by serving my guests delicious food and for being so personable with everyone, from younger to elder! Thank for making my party a lot easier on me! We look forward to using you again! read more

I've used Top Flight Tacos for an annual backyard party for the past several years, and they always provide great service & delicious food. Last wknd Carlos & Connie arrived right on time for setup (actually a few mins early). They cooked the veggies & meat, so the backyard smelled wonderful as guests started to arrive. Everyone ate their fill of delicious fresh tacos & quesadillas, and loved every bite. Carlos & Connie made quick work of the cleanup, setting the leftovers up as a make-your-own buffet that the guests munched on til after midnight. We all gave Carlos & Connie a big round of applause as they left. I can always count on Top Flight Tacos to help make an epic party! read more

Booked Top Flight the last minute for a birthday surprise lunch for my boyfriend's birthday after every plan I had was canceled due to the rainy weather. They were very accommodating and great communicators. The food was excellent. They served chicken, Al pastor, and beef with rice and beans and grilled vegetables. Everyone made multiple trips because it was that amazing. We had Chef Miguel. He arrived early to set up which resulted in us being able to eat earlier than our original starting time. Would definitely book the again in the future. read more
