I am so impressed with Jose who cooked delicious tacos for a 55-60 person surprise birthday party at a park! Not only was the food flavorful and fresh, but Jose's professionalism was truly outstanding. Food: - We had options of pollo, al pastor, and carne asada for the tacos. I had received several compliments from guests regarding how flavorful the taco meat was. I personally really liked the al pastor and carne asada. - We also had the option of quesadillas which several people stated were good! (I used most of my stomach room for tacos lol) - Sides included salsa, beans, and rice. The salsas very delicious and went well with the tacos. The salsas were so good, they were gone within 30-45 minutes! I especially liked the guacamole based salsa and salsa verde. - Jose did a great job with the presentation of the food, sides, and salsas. Since this party was at a park, I provided a table that Jose used to set up the food. Jose was very organized in setting up the food and additional snacks/drinks that I brought. Jose's AMAZING service: - Although the food was so good, I was even more impressed by Jose's professionalism and service! Jose helped in making this party seamless! He surpassed his duties by always offering and helping me with various heavy party supplies - that did not have to do with tacos. He always took the initiative to see what we would need help with! - Jose was very timely and communicative. When he arrived, he helped me with logistics through FaceTime, while I was finishing up some errands. There were people already in the picnic tables that we were planning to set up. Jose helped with finding additional options that were not occupied already. He didn't have to do this, but Jose took the initiative which helped tremendously. - Jose was communicating with me before and throughout the event. Before the event, he even face timed me showing me the other table options while offering any help in the set up. This was all before his shift even started since he arrived early. - Jose has great capacity to anticipate our needs in advance! So we are SoCal natives taking a staycation in Palm Springs. Top Flight Taco was a search result that advertised their services in Palm Springs/Indio for $300. We reached out to try and book them for our staycation of 8 adults and 6 kids. Again, their website provided a quote of $300. So it was quite shocking to get a response that the price was now $1200. When we responded how so and that their website quoted $300, the representative texted a message stating "All prices went up due to covid..." Really? 4X on prices? Why not update the website? Why not ensure accurate prices are quoted? Why not say inflation or something else and not just the standard-and-easy-to-use covid response? Just a little bizarre and would not trust this company if you are planning an event. If you are, get everything in writing and even go further to get a contract signed because other reviews also note an issue with reliability. read more

The good---able to book 60 days in advance with ease. The bad---after confirming the week before, no one shows up at 11am on the day of the event. No one from their organization reached out to let me know of any issues. At 11:15 I try to contact them to find out if everything is okay. No response to phone calls or texts for 20 minutes so I send email. The ugly---finally receive email response that they can't make it 45 minutes after someone was supposed to show up and 15 minutes before guests were expecting to eat. That was 45 minutes that I could have used to order pizzas (plan b) or made other arrangements for food to feed the 40 guests that had already arrived. I was a repeat customer that was referred by someone else and had referred two other families to use them. They have lost more than my business with this failure of communication and lack of consideration for timely notification. I had a plan b in place as I understand things happen, but the company should have informed me they were having issues as they became aware of it, not wait until I contact them and then ghost me for a half hour. Thanks for that extra stress while hosting a party, ghosting me for over a half hour and for taking full responsibility 5 minutes before my guests were planning to eat, see attached email pic. Food was good, set up was nice but had a bad experience at the end of the service. First, our bday party event was at a park in March on a gloomy day. That went very well despite the mild rain. The vendor got there a few minutes late and had trouble finding us but it all worked out because their set up was quick. I introduced myself and showed them where to set up and let them know where everything was. They started serving food pretty quickly soon after the meat was ready. Our party had slightly less people than what we said would show up so they had plenty of food and never came close to running out of any of the meats, salsa or other condiments. The problem is that they left very abruptly before the agreed upon time of 2 hours and they never even said goodbye or left any of the remaining meat. I was so surprised that thought maybe they handed extra meat to someone else but no one saw or heard anything. After we were done w our party I quickly tried calling the guy and he did not pick up. Later I reached out to them on Yelp and they said they would try to find out what happened but by then it was too late to make things good. I never heard back from them so thus my negative review. I know that the mild rain had something to do with it but to not even say anything or attempt to tell us goodbye was not cool and was unprofessional. read more
