Colin provided a comprehensive quote with a few different options. The final price was very reasonable. He is very knowledgeable and communicated the condition and options clearly. I can't say enough about the crew that did the work. They were like a fine tuned machine. It was obvious they were all experienced climbers. The way they worked together was very impressive and reassuring of their safety standards. Again, their communication was thorough and much appreciated. The billing and payment process was easy to understand and very easy. Abby was great to work with! I highly recommend CTC for any tree trimming work, large or small.

This review is way overdue, so my apologies to Livick Tree Service in advance. I'm even more…read moresurprised there are no reviews before me. Here is my story. I had two diseased trees in my backyard that needed to be cut down. Being new to the area, I really didn't know who to call. I got a few quotes that were reasonable, but I didn't feel comfortable with the vendors. I found Livick Tree Service online and thought they did a nice job on their website, so I gave them a call. Can't tell you who I talked to, but they indicated they were pretty busy, but had a bigger job to do in the area and believed they could get mine done on the way back. Although they gave me a time frame (which I don't remember), I didn't hear back, so I called again and they indicated they were still tied up on a larger job, but should be able to get to it soon. Fast forward to the next morning... I was looking out by windows into the backyard and my trees were GONE! I thought I was seeing things at first. I walked out and sure enough, they had come and taken down the two trees. I am a very picky guy and their work was nothing short of amazing. They didn't leave a trace that they had been there. No twigs, no loose brush, nothing. I was amazed at how clean my yard was when they were done. Livick Tree Service does fantastic work at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a REAL professional tree service.

The world needs more companies like Nelson Tree Service. I say this for several reasons…read more Nelson Tree Service worked with my finances, understood that I'm not made of money, they got the trees down, and I will rest a lot easier now that I know my kids are safer sleeping in their beds at night. This one tree was a monster, maybe 80' tall, and 2.5' diameter at the base. They didn't have to do this for me knowing I couldn't pay in full or even pay much at all. They did it, because they knew it needed to be done. They did it, because they didn't want them to fall on my house or my kids. There aren't too many companies like this out there. Cherish them when you find them. Another company for example told me it would cost almost 3x as much, that they needed specialized equipment, and that they wanted me to take sections of my fence down too... Nelson's? They showed up, climbed up, used ropes, and saws... No damage to anything.

They did an amazing job and truly are "tree pros." There was no damage my house, patio, or other structures even though the trees were very close to several structures. They cleaned up as they worked and left my yard in good condition. I had asked to keep the wood so they cut it into manageable pieces and stacked it for me. They also got me in contact and arranged for all my stumps and roots to be ground down. They were prompt with their communication and offered fair pricing that was actually less than other companies had quoted. Highly recommended this company for any difficult tree removal jobs.
