The staff is caring, attentive, professional, and genuinely loves the animals they look after. But this past weekend, they did something our family will never forget. **They saved our dog's life.** One thing I've always appreciated about All Tails R Waggin is how happy our dogs seem whenever we take them there. We've tried other boarding facilities over the years, and I've definitely noticed a difference. Our dogs just didn't seem quite as happy or comfortable at those places. At All Tails R Waggin, they're always excited, happy, and clearly well cared for. That alone has given us tremendous peace of mind over the years. But what happened this weekend took our appreciation to an entirely different level. We dropped off our 8-year-old Goldendoodle, Chase, for boarding before heading out of town. A short time later, the staff noticed something wasn't right. Chase wasn't acting like himself, and rather than brushing it off or simply keeping an eye on him, they immediately recognized that something could be seriously wrong. They contacted me, expressed their concerns, and most importantly, **took immediate action to get Chase to a veterinarian.** That quick thinking and attentiveness turned out to be the difference between life and death. Chase was diagnosed with gastric torsion (bloat), an extremely dangerous condition where a dog's stomach twists and requires emergency surgery. Every minute matters with this condition, and because the staff at All Tails R Waggin recognized the warning signs and acted so quickly, Chase had a fighting chance. What followed was an unbelievable ordeal. During emergency surgery, Chase suffered severe complications, and we actually received a phone call telling us he had passed away. Six minutes later, we received another call telling us his heart had miraculously started beating again. Today, our miracle dog is back home with his family, recovering. I share this story because **the people at All Tails R Waggin didn't just watch our dog. They paid attention, recognized something was wrong, and took action when it mattered most.** Had they waited, dismissed his symptoms, or simply assumed he wasn't feeling well, we very likely would have lost Chase. As dog owners, we put an enormous amount of trust in the people caring for our pets. We want to know they're safe, loved, happy, and treated like family. After years of wonderful experiences with All Tails R Waggin, we already knew they provided exceptional care. We've seen it in how our dogs act when they're there and how happy they are when we pick them up. Today I took my dog to be groomed and get a summer cut....I told the girl who took him back, "do…read morenot cut his ears length" she nodded ok, A couple of hours later I received a call "I am so sorry I did not see the note regarding Charlie's ears" of course they are extremely short; this is a shiatzu; I would think a dog groomer would know not to do that. common sense....of course I flipped out when I got him. They were waiting for me to keep apologizing however when someone messes up your dog, there is no apology that will work, you are furious which I was. Did I flip out? Yes.....more than I would any other time, after hair grows back. The comments from the groomer were what really set me off see below 'the jokes on you....I've groomed ur dog before and you loved it" "like I said I'm sorry.... lol....okay maam These were her responses to me, verbatim. So for me to be extremely angry when I picked him up is an understatement. Now they will come back and say, I was outraged.....I was....I used profanity.......absolutely mainly because they could care less that I was extremely upset over the exact thing I had asked the not to do. I guess at the end of the day I should have known better to take him to a groomer I did not have any history with. I needed a place to board Arnold, my 85lbs Pit Mastiff. I usually take him to Pet Suites but they…read morewere completely booked. I Yelped a few options and came across CRAM. They have a very unique approach to doggie daycare. No cages! I was concerned at first until I saw how Christie and her staff gradually introduced other dogs to Arnold and were very aware of behaviors. I watched from a tv monitor in the lobby area. Next thing I know there are 5-7 dogs with Arnold and he was loving it. They let the dogs spend hours together the first day and today he was there a full day. I'll be boarding him overnight Friday and Saturday. The staff is very attentive to all the dogs and know how to redirect if playing gets a little escalated. Today I was working and was able to check on Arnold from my phone, watching the cams in all of the rooms. I love that he can play all day instead of being caged for 2/3 of his stay. I highly recommend CRAM to anyone who has a socialized dog, to treat them to a real play day or two. I look forward to using them more in the future!
