From the outside it doesn't look like a typical takeaway as it's constructed from the same stone as every other building in the village, presumably this is some sort of National Park planning requirement. Step inside and you could be in any chip shop anywhere in the country. There are no surprises on the menu, it's all typical chippy fare, and the prices are reasonable given that Betws is a tourist trap. There's a small seating area inside but better than this, assuming the sun is shining, is the small seating area outside. If you want something more scenic then you can cross the adjacent Pont-y-Pair bridge and make your way down to the river bank opposite for a picnic. Not a particularly outstanding chippy in it's own right but perfectly acceptable and thanks to it's location definitely worth a visit.
