Here today! I needed…read morea dry cleaners and Yelp recommended Winn Street Laundry, it was within 2 miles of my hotel so perfect. Winn Street Laundry does their laundry on premise but they send their dry cleaning out. I'm not use to their prices, they have a minimum weight and Jezzzzus, their prices was astronomical! I asked how much and gasps behind me for asking and the lady at the counter "This is Boston" look and their awards let me know YOU WANT YOUR CLOTHES DONE RIGHT, SCREW THE PRICES. $7 freakin dollars for a single shirt? It was either my ego that agreed, determined to look Winn Street Laundry starched down and pressed or didn't wanna look cheap and couldn't afford their services. I said out loud "Good grief, I pay $2.79 in Houston for a man buttoned down laundry, heavy starched shirt". I felt the evil eyes trying to climb my Psalm 91 hedges of protection because one of the two tunnels here was closed due to construction and the traffic put commuter's at least 30 minutes behind and in traffic. These Bostonians need to fire up a joint which is legal here and CHILL OUT:)))) Anywho, my dry cleaning was superb and the heavy starch I requested cut my neck and was ready before time. My shirt collars was white so I had not a one complaint for my HARD earned mula. I received a text when my clothes were ready along with a reminder of the price, I like that. I learned a valuable lesson from Winn; order some white polo's from Amazon, buy Spray n Wash along with spray starch and save that money for 2 16 inch bundles of human hair:))) Here today! There tomorrow!

There's also a massage chair near the entrance, that was fun. Dryers are .50 for 10 minutes which made wary, but so far, everything mostly dries in 1 go. The only annoyance is the speaker keeps cycling through the exact same messages repeatedly. I can't even listen to the music playing because of it.

Each time there is a woman and her crew running a laundry business here - but they are not the owners. They occupy 3 of 4 folding tables, most of the dryers, and bags of laundry stacked everywhere. When I complained about not being able to use dryers, they hit me with a lot attitude. One of the underlings told me they had a deal with the owner (Joanne), and I could call her to confirm. She then suggested I use a different laundromat. I called Joanne (she's listed with number for emergencies), but never received a call back. Worst experience I ever had in a laundromat. I won't be going back. Joanne needs to figure out what kind of business she's in and close this place to the public.

We needed the Mega washing machines and this place had 3 that washed 60 pounds each. A definite perk was the price. It was $6.25 a load. Anyway, the laundromat was a fairly large area with lots of machines, plenty of the rolling baskets, ample seating, a couple of tables & stools, a children's area, change machine, detergent vending machine, and beverage vending machine. Music played and they had wifi (I didn't use it so not sure how well it worked.) They even had books for kids and magazines for adults. Cleanliness was about average for this type of business. My suggestion, however, would be to wash the bathroom floor. Visually, It looked clean enough but it was so sticky, I nearly stepped out of my slip-on shoes. Overall, I would not hesitate to go back. Maybe without stopping for coffee first.
