Slapped a bracelet on our hands and yelled NEXT! Spoke to Will after finding out from another patron that you have to go request a walker, Will is entirely incompetent, rude, and apathetic to guests. I asked for a walker, he told me to go to the next line. I get to the next line, wait for my turn, and they said they have no walkers. ZERO communication. Nobody knows what's going on. I voiced my frustration with the complete lack of communication, and the employee named Will literally said, "sorry, not my problem. Maybe you'll get lucky and someone will turn in their walker early." So a few minutes later I checked back in the first line that I was originally told to go to for a walker; there was one left. Was told by the young guy there (didn't get his name) to go to the second line to pay.... I wait my turn, get to the front of the line, Walker was gone. Repeat 2 more times. Finally I talked to Alicia, who unbelievably enough was a manager. Told her about the 20 minute runaround I experienced with her employees. She smirked and said, sorry there's nothing I can do. I said are you the manager? She said yes I'm one of the managers. I said well you can train your employees better to start. She smirked again and said, "I have no power here, sorry." I said, you just said you're a manager? She said I am one of them. I said, what is your name? She laughed and said, "Alicia. And you can write whatever you want about me; I do not care. This isn't even my main job." I said I would like a refund, we are leaving. She said do you have your receipt? I said, my husband threw it away. She shrugged and said, "sorry. Nothing I can do if you don't have your receipt." And sat there smirking at me. UNBELIEVABLY HORRID customer service!!! Will needs to be trained, and Alicia needs to be fired.

My brother in law and father in law took me to the batting cages for the first time in years…read more Luckily this review isn't about my batting skills. It would be one star. The Strike Zone is a cool little place in Greer. They have tunnels for rent to get reactive pitching and hitting and of course the batting cages. You can select from slow, medium, and fast pitch. The speed ranges from 40-80 mph. You buy tokens for one dollar a piece. One token = 15 pitches. You can also get 6 tokens for $5. Surprisingly 15 pitches last longer than you would think. They also have softball pitching options to brush up your office team skills. If your not into it but you are stuck waiting for your child to finish up, don't worry... They have big comfy leather couches and a tv in the lounge area to keep you entertained while you wait. All in all a very fun place especially for a rainy day. I would definitely recommend.

This place is a fabulous training facility. We actually had experience at three different…read morefacilities in the same time frame 9-12 years ago when our son played. I won't go into details, but "short story"... Strike Zone was far superior in every aspect, and the others were a complete waste of time. (Both of the others are out of business now, so, clearly, we weren't the only ones disappointed!). Both trainers working with him here (Shane and Jeff) were completely focused on the child during the lesson, and actually got results. So, when our daughter wanted training, we knew just where to go. She has done amazingly well working with Sarah on hitting and with Jeff on catching. She moves differently, reacts differently, and uses her muscles differently. She went from awkward looking to athletic in her batting and behind-the-plate action. That would not have happened without the patient teaching of Strike Zone instructors. Most adults would get annoyed after giving the same instruction corrections over multiple sessions, but these folks just find another way to express it (because every kid interprets differently) until it sinks in! Addendum... I thought I submitted this a year ago and, apparently, failed to hit "post". One year later... the only change would be that I failed to comment on how fabulous the front desk staff has been over all these years (exceptionally nice - every single person !!!). We have been away for several months (just practicing independently), but plan to get her back in the rotation again soon because these trainers are amazing!

My daughter is finishing up her first week at La Petite and, so far, I am raving about them…read more My little girl is about to turn 3, and this is the first time she's been in any sort of preschool environment. Up until now, we've been fortunate enough to have my husband or I staying with her. But, with my husband starting a new job, we weren't able to make it work anymore. I found La Petite through a corporate partnership with my job, and I toured a couple of the facilities in the area before settling on this location. At a trial day at one of the other locations, my daughter came home and told me "I cried because I missed you and that made my teacher mad. She said 'NO NO'." Now, I'm sure that the teacher wasn't yelling at her, necessarily, but I didn't like that my daughter perceived that as the reaction to her being upset, so we decided to keep looking. After her first day with Ms. Ashley, she didn't have a single bad thing to say. She did tell me "I cried because I missed you" and I asked "was the teacher nice?" and she said "Oh yes, she made me happy". She went on and on all that afternoon about all the fun things she did throughout the day and all her new friends. Ms. Ashley made me a laminated scrapbook with a bunch of pictures from her first day and answered all my questions, all while juggling 10 toddlers. During a break, she gave me a personal call to update me on how the day was going, which made an amazing impression on me. I had called several times to check in throughout the day, and the fact that she took the time to call me personally was really, really appreciated. She told me that my daughter didn't want to nap, and that she kept asking to have her back rubbed, so Ms. Ashley told me "...So I rubbed her back for about 5 minutes and she was out like a light". She took the time to give my daughter the personal attention that she really needed on her first day away from her momma and daddy, and that is so special to me. The morning drop off is still a little tough, but Ms. Cyndi, the director, does a great job of calming her down and settling her in. Also, Cyndi is always happy to keep me updated or go check on my daughter when I call throughout the day. I can't explain how tough it is to go from knowing what's going on in every moment of your child's life and being in control of her entire day, to putting all your trust in someone new. Everyone at this location has made us feel welcome and safe. They keep me updated and answer all my questions. I have walked in at random times throughout the day and never have I seen behavior from the teachers that made me feel uncomfortable. I'm excited for her to be in this new learning environment and I couldn't be more pleased with our experience so far. I would highly recommend this location to anyone!
