Wow!! I am a…read moreperfectionist and very picky. I care about the little details. And I can tell you that the guys and crews at Apex Paint and Remodel really knocked it out of the park! I straight up photoshopped my house colors on and they helped me achieve my vision. From the consultation - Evan and Travis gave me a lot of their time, answered all my questions, and didn't make me feel rushed. I felt super heard and like they were there to help me understand! I chose a paint and remodel company because I have a 1930s craftsman home and wanted its beauty and character preserved and enhanced - I knew a regular paint company wouldn't accomplish that. Then came the actual painting. I think I had them try like 10 different swatches and I changed my mind half a dozen times up until the last minute. The crews (led by Jeromy, Richard, and Jason) were all incredibly patient, warm, and friendly. Even when I panicked over my bold choices halfway through the painting, they were calm and easygoing (while still doing diligent and quality work). The guys on the crews were painters and carpenters capable of repairs and rebuilding my wooden porch railing. I will honestly miss seeing the guys around because everyone was so nice! It feels like I have a brand new house and I am so in love! The neighbors have been oohing and aahing as well. If you want a high-quality, detail-focused job done with friendliness and professionalism, I can't recommend these guys enough!

Christian did a marvelous job painting our 15 ft walls along the staircase! It's difficult to find professionals in general, and when the communication, execution and follow up are all above par, what's not to love!? Evan came to collect the $ and inspect the work, which I hear is normal procedure at Apex. I definitely recommend this company.

I contacted them through Yelp and got a prompt response, unlike a number of other contractors I contacted the same way. Lenny came over right away, scoped the property out, and gave me a competitive bid. He was easy to talk to, friendly and forthcoming with details. The whole job took Lenny, David and Gustavo about 4 days, including pressure washing, trim removal & replacement, taping off, detail work and cleanup. The results were entirely satisfactory. I would recommend Three Stars Painting and would consider using them again for future painting projects.

They built a deck and railing, laid a paver pathway, hauled in bags of pebbles and laid them down, replaced rotting soffit boards and repaired damaged siding. Exceptional communication, up front pricing, excellent follow through on getting the job done. Life is hard, finding good work at reasonable prices is hard, but Lenny and David have never disappointed me. My property value keeps improving with each project. They leave the job site spotless. They arrive on time each day. I highly recommend this small family owned company!

I could have done it myself and rented a sprayer. But I would have had to buy tarps, and a lot of tape, and better ladders etc. and it was just too daunting. So the walls weren't getting painted. Jim did the whole job in a day for $700 and with a guarantee. He used the best paint, and would come back to touch-up any missed spots, but we haven't found any. No mess, no bother, no straining my neck and shoulders, no clean-up, and no rentals to return. Well worth the price.

Our nineteen year old home needed a new paint job…read more We didn't know which company to choose. After reading many reviews about painters in Salem, we chose to go with Jim at Your Home Painting. We are sure glad we did! First of all, you will be hard pressed to find a nicer and more honest person than Jim. Second, he is VERY skilled in his craft. Our home looks BEAUTIFUL! The quality of the paint job is second to none. Jim also provided a color consultant. This is something that we would never have thought of. We had Shannon from Shannon Campbell Designs out to our home, and we went with colors that again, we would have never thought of. Our home colors are beautiful, and we have NEVER seen out exact color combo! Trust me, we spent literally months looking at homes, websites, etc to choose our colors. Jim and his crew pressure washed, prepped, and painted the house quickly. They left NO mess. Our painted decks were a total mess. They were so ugly that we used to close the slider door blinds when guests came over. Jim explained the correct paint to use so the deck could "breathe" and guaranteed that the decks paint won't peel again. Speaking of guarantees: Jim will come out annually for three years to inspect the paint, make sure all is well, and that we are happy. And finally, Jim told us that the paint job didn't require as much time to paint and prep it, so Jim cut the price of the job by $700.00! He could have kept the money and we still would have been thrilled. We were beside ourselves with Jim's honesty. This type of customer service is sorely lacking in our society. Bottom line: If your house needs paint, search no further. Call Jim and your problem is solved! Stewart & Christine West Salem 2017 UPDATE: Jim stopped by every year as promised. He inspected the entire exterior of our house and made sure that there were no problems whatsoever. The house still looks freshly painted three years later. Thanks Jim!

Box Painting came highly recommended by a friend, and now I know why!…read more We hired Ben and his crew to do a small job (paint our dining room) but we only had a few weeks to get it done before selling our house. He was able to get us a professional quote quickly AND it was substantially more affordable than the other 3 bids we got. We were able to get it scheduled right away given our self imposed time crunch. We actually tried to pay him more after the job was done and he wouldn't take it! They did an excellent job, went above and beyond to make sure it was done well. Such a professional company. They are talented painters and all have great work ethic. I highly recommend Box Painting!!!

He had given a 5 year guarantee, he came back to look, agreed something didn't go right, and said he would fix it. That was 18 months ago and now it looks even worse after going through an Oregon winter unprotected. I have called, texted, emailed and he is no longer responding to me. I offered to pay again, since the initial job looked great, and I assume it was a bad batch of stain, AND I offered not to hold him to 5 year guarantee again. No response. But the "warranty" apparently is bogus, and he is not even giving me the courtesy of telling me he is unwilling to fix things, and unwilling to give me any recommendations for a different painter. Completely unprofessional. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
