The Good: The end result of the cleaning service is very good, but not the best. The Bad & The Ugly: After a cleaning service, a dentist typically comes in and evaluates or inspects the teeth. At least, this has always been my experience elsewhere. At this place, the dentist marches in with dollar signs in his eyes as though you walked in with 15 missing teeth, an overbite, and a misaligned jaw. It is clear that the objective is not to give you a clean bill of good oral health, rather, it is to tell you a host of services that you "need" that they are all to happy to go ahead and jot down in your file and get you set up with an appointment ASAP! I have a reasonable tolerance for nonsense, having dealt with the public in my career, so while the salesman, er, dentist was rattling off procedures, I just said "Hmm, hmmm." After he left the room, I was more than ready to go. But wait! The hygienist asked me to wait a moment while she left the room. That "moment" turned into what felt like 15 minutes of nothing, so my patience did expire, and I made it clear that I needed to go and asked WHAT IS THE WAIT FOR? That's when she owned up and said that they were pricing out all of the procedures and were creating a price list. Why the secrecy? Why couldn't the wait request have included an advisement that they were working on that? I'll tell you why, it's because they knew that there was NO way in you-know-where that I was going for that schtick! I had been here twice, and BOTH times, it was the same song and dance. Continue to wait? Nope! I left! Things may have been different if I have said, "hey Doc, I don't like xyz about my teeth, can you make a recommdation?" But, to just get a cleaning and having an it-ain't-broke-but-we-can-fix-it experience is beyond the pale for a medical facility! That's just like going to the service department at a car dealership. You go in for a simple oil change, but they come back to you with a price list for an urgent engine replacement and a new radiator. Smarmy, grimy, slimy to say the LEAST! If this practice is hard up for cash, how about getting out in these streets and offering services to those who actually need them? I see jacked-up mouths literally everywhere I go. Literally. Stop trying to make money by the hard upselling. They will see me again on the 12th of NEVER! I do NOT recommend for standard dental care services!

They changed my prescription brand without telling me, or my doctor, and now until this is gone (which I can't take because of the difference in fillers) I have to pay almost $100 a month for 3 months, for a prescription that is FREE, because Walgreens told me that the insurance won't cover their screw-up if they order me the original one I take. In the meantime, I have no medication for a serious liver autoimmune issue. It's not the first time in the 8 months we have lived in this area that this particular Walgreens has screwed up, but it will be the last, and is proving harmful. The absolute worst pharmacy!!

Because the business had no reviews, I was a bit hesitant but gave them a call and could tell by the phone conversation that I would be well assisted. When I arrived, Josie, who was working by herself was tending to all of the customers and offered every last customer thorough and genuine service. Came to this store as an alternative to my regular beauty supply store, as I remembered I needed gel. I walked into the store and was greeted by an older Asian woman as I proceeded down the isles looking for gel. I noticed for every aisle I went down, there was an Asian man following me at the end of every aisle cap. I looked down and saw the gel just as he walked towards me asking could he help me. I said no, and he put his hands up and repeated himself. I said no again. I proceeded to the front of the store where they both were standing and watching me. I turned, said " Have a nice day" and went to the other beauty supply store about a mile away. I'll never come here again.

I have been using M.A.C's Studio Fix "Powder Plus Foundation" compact for years now, and it is…read morestill my favorite. Although the price has gone up each year "due to inflation" (per one of the M.A.C employees), I continue to spend $27+ on 15 grams/0.52 ounces of Studio Fix. Why? Because it is worth it! This particular M.A.C is located in the Macy's inside the Mall of Georgia, right by the mall entrance from the cosmetics section. It's also right next to the Women's Shoe department. Most recently, I went to this M.A.C to get a foundation match and also buy a new Studio Fix compact because I was running low. I wish I could remember the name of the kind woman who had helped me (and I thought it would be on my receipt, but later found out it wasn't), but she and one other M.A.C employee were busy when my sisters and I walked over. Although her co-worker didn't say one word to us, this particular employee cheerfully told us to give her a few minutes and that she would help us as soon as she was done helping another customer. Sure enough, I only had to wait about 5 minutes or so when she approached me with a warm smile. I told her I wanted a (liquid) foundation match, and she quickly found a shade that was pretty close to my skin tone. However, my sisters thought it made me look too pale (yes, paler than usual!), so the employee found a shade that was slightly darker, which looked great! Since I was planning to buy the foundation another day, I requested a sample to try out at home (which is the norm at most cosmetic stores). She happily prepared a sample in a little plastic container so that I could try it for a few days before I ultimately go back to make my purchase. After my liquid foundation match, I asked the employee for her opinion on the Studio Fix shade that I was currently using - NC30 - since I was about to buy another one. She told me that it looked a little too dark for my skin tone, which I didn't even consider since I had been buying the same shade for years. I really appreciated that she helped me find a lighter, more flattering Studio Fix shade - C2. She showed me how it looked over the liquid foundation, and I thought it looked great, so I went ahead and bought a new shade of compact for the first time in years! Overall, this M.A.C Cosmetics inside Macy's gets 4.5 stars for their quality cosmetic products and this wonderful employee who assisted me recently. If I find out her name upon my return, I'll be sure to update my review accordingly because she was awesome. However, I have to knock off 1/2 a star because the price for the Studio Fix compact (as well as their other cosmetics, I assume) has steadily been increasing by 50 cents every year. One thing that surprised me was their lashes! I bought a pair for $17 and the Make Up Artist put them on for free! Courtney at the Mall of GA is very amazing! She patient and did an excellent job. She waited on 4 women and took care of each of us individually. We all left very satisfied! Thank you Mac Cosmetics. You amaze me every time.
