Instead I got another copy of the bill and a passive aggressive answer on why they did not have to tell me prior to my appointments. Any business that takes your insurance prior to appointment but doesn't tell you that you are not in-network is more about the money than the customer.

I knew it was risky for Dr. Jardine remove the crown because the screw between the crown and implant was stuck. I knew I could lose my implant, and I would cost $5,000 or more to replace. She was like, well if there's not one up then we will put one up. It's like she was testing me and pushing me and then she just smiled with this smug look on her face like as if she's better than.... It was so disrespectful and I will never go back! Now one could argue that it was disrespectful of me to take a phone call. I assessed my surroundings and timing of it and made that decision. And also very aware to keep my voice down! So naturally I felt attacked. There was no background noise of any kind! No music, no TV. So maybe I seemed loud to her?? I don't really know! I questioned myself and called my son back and asked him if he thought I was talking loud to him. He said no, absolutely not! And trust me, he's honest! He's 17. So maybe she should have minded her own business and did her job instead of policing me!

The best part of the Wendel team is that they take care of all the billing and insurance stuff so it's easy-peasy. Signing up for text messages and email reminders was simple, too. Second best? They don't ask me how frequently I floss. They know. I know. No need for me to lie ... since she can simply look up the date of my last appointment to note the last time my teeth were flossed. It's like Regina George was a dentist ... "Stop trying to make flossing happen. It's not going to happen." It's not like I don't try.
